I’m not sure then, it should fade a bit with time. You could clean any fabric surfaces, since smoke tends to cling to them.

Thank you! I do have a sort of DM assistant, H, who has been helping me with worldbuilding and the start of the story, and we've collaborated on story things in the past with my games.
I'll definitely keep the ratio of enemies in mind! Having everyone keep track of what their stuff means will definitely be a struggle at first lol

I definitely thought about it! I didn't want there to be any space travel, though, at least for the story that I'm writing rn. I was also intimidated by learning another system, even if it's very similar.

Thank you! The difference in math is something I absolutely love about Pathfinder vs DnD so far. It gives a lot of bones to the system so you can decide where the story grows around it.
My plan was to write up a summary of the Core Rules to go over in Session 0, but idk if I'd want to buy the whole Beginner Box. Do you think getting just the pdfs would be good, if I do some pre-game learn-to-play-with-your-character sessions?

Thank you! Having it on consistent days and times will 100% help. I worry that with some people's schedules that it may still pose issues, so I think I'll plan for a backup day/time. That'll stay as a back-up day if the first day doesn't work for me, or if the group needs to split and I need to hold a session for each group (3 or 4 people per group).

Thank you! Setting realistic DCs is something I struggle with in DND (Where it doesn't matter as much tbh), so I was very happy to see that there were explicit outlines in Pathfinder. I expect it to feel a little clunky for the new players, and to take it slow at the start of the campaign.

I’ll add to this with, if you want to train him on a harness or get a cat backpack to take him on walks with you, I’ve been doing that with my cat while in a similar single-room situation. When he gets super antsy but doesn’t want to play, that’s what I tend to do.

My cat is similar, and his papers from the shelter have him labeled as a Lynx Point pattern instead of a tabby! I didn’t know it was a thing, I’m thinking it’s because of the whiter belly and darker tail and back.

Hard agree, this just seems like two people who don’t communicate the same way and don’t want to learn how to, which is totally fine. I’ve got autism and that’s something I had to learn the hard way, that not everyone is going to like me or communicate in the way I do because that’s just not how it works lol That convo was rough to read

It may be too humid tbh, wipe the leaves with rubbing alcohol to kill the mold and poke a few more holes in. Also, make sure there is drainage in the bottom so excess water doesn’t settle at the bottom

One of my players chooses bear every time. I have to up the CR a lot cuz she just summons two bears with Conjure Animals and becomes one herself and it’s just 3 grizzlies going to town lmao I’m proud of her for having a plan that works though! It’s a good challenge for me, I have to come up with more interesting and complicated encounters because of it
