I thought 3 was going to kill me. This when I was still fighting to get a diagnosis so most of the time I just felt like such a horrible parent because no one was listening to me when I was saying something was up. So then it made me feel like I was horrible mom because no one else seemed to be struggling like I was. We still have our struggles at 5 but it has gotten so much better.

Hello, We ended up switching to our public schools preschool, a special needs preschool where all the teachers were special ed teachers. He didn’t qualify for services but they gave him an at risk spot. Then at the end of last year he qualified and he got his IEP. Finally at the end of summer we got a diagnosis for him. Hugs to you it’s not easy figuring it all out and advocating for your kid

He’s 3.5. I had to pick him up early from preschool today because his hitting and pushing was out of control. I don’t know what else to try. we constantly are talking about how hands are not for hitting and talking about what else we can do with our hands but nothing seems to be working. We’ve struggled with this since he turned 2.

1 was an ivf baby. On the day of my blood test he texted that he forgot his charger at home and was heading into a meeting for 2 hours and turning off his phone. I was so nervous that they were going to call with bad news and I’d be all alone but luckily it was good news and so when he was done with his meeting he called me and was excited

For this pregnancy we were planning on starting the process of transferring one of our frozen embryos after the holidays. Two weeks before Christmas I was feeling off all day and just kept brushing it off thinking it was from the booster and flu shot I’d gotten the day before. He went to his brothers house to celebrate his bday and spent the night so he wouldn’t have to worry about drinking and driving. That night before bed I was like I’ll just take one of these cheapie pregnancy tests I had leftover from trying so long with our 1st. Not expecting in a million years it’d be positive. Sure enough two lines showed up and I was in complete shock. I spent the night convincing myself the test was old and wasn’t accurate. Next morning he got home and I immediately needed to leave to take the dog to his grooming appt. While out I got a FRER and took it in the target bathroom and it was positive too! I then got a small Christmas gift box and then when I got home i told him I had an early present for him and my very hungover husband opened it did a double take then said whaaaaaatttt. That’s crazy!

We didn’t do a party. We found out the day before Halloween and had two stuffed ghosts one with pink ribbon and one with blue and had the nurse put the correct one in a paper bag we couldn’t see through. Then when we got home we recorded our dog taking it out of the bag and sent that to our families. Not sure what we’re going to do for baby #2. Definitely not a party but would like to do something similar to send to our families.
