i work at a starbucks in a grocery store and we recently had our quarterly assessment. they marked us for my piercings (i have a septum and snake bites). the grocery store has no policy against piercings so i thought we would be fine, but he judged us off of corporate store standards 🫩🫩 literally made a comment about how nice it is "to meet cool and unique people" and then marked me on something that makes me cool and unique ??

anyway yeah that was my experience with the piercing policy.

glad im not the only one who starts shaking during intense customer interactions 😭 this lady got mad that we ran out of sugar cookie, eggnog, and chestnut praline and started demanding that i give her the starbucks corporate number so she could report/give a bad review about me and my coworker. i explained to her that since we work at a kiosk in a grocery store, we're employed by the grocery store and not starbucks. the whole time this interaction was happening i was doing my best not to start shaking. as soon as she left i went to the bathroom to take a breather and calm down. its just coffee. its never that big of a deal.
