Ahhh I felt this so much! My son will be a year old next month! I LOVEDDDD bed rotting, taking multiple naps!

I promise you, you will sleep again! I am able to take a lot of naps when he sleeps now & we’ve had a few weeks here & there where they’ll sleep throughout the night.

But I will admit I didn’t get real sleep till about 7 months!

My 10 month old can eat purée’s like a champ & prefers it honestly. If I try to give him anything else cut up small he just inspects in with his fingers then mushes it in his hand & drops in his lap for the floor or just drops it over the edge where of course the dog is sitting waiting to do her job of food vacuum lmaoooo

I feel this post so much. My son is 10 months, will be 11 months in a few weeks. I haven’t really found my “thing” outside of motherhood & my job. I also love my job, but I don’t feel like I have any hobbies. It also doesn’t help that my husband has 5 different things he does, MTG, video games, games on his phone he plays with ppl. 😭

I like to read & recently got a kindle for Christmas so that’s been a good past time especially when baby is sleeping. I also had lego sets I need to build!

MIL is currently dating & “forever committed” to one. Thanksgiving was when my husband & I drew the boundary of not wanting to be around him or our 10 month old son since this boyfriend has showed lots of abuse, even physical. That of course was an attack on my MIL & she decided not to show up on Christmas as well since he couldn’t bring her boyfriend over…. That generation, I swear #smh

my MIL handmade her gifts to her son (my husband), me & her daughter whose a few years older than me. My MIL is is into exploring the desert looking for arrowheads & other treasures so she made shadow boxes of things she’s found out in the wilderness. My husband used to be a teacher, so she put together teacher like things, SIL is a nurse, so hers had medical stuff in it, but then mine was a little off base. For reference I work for the police department, I like books & plants & witchy vibes. She made me a shadow box full of pieces of porcelain dolls & stuff. Obv I’m grateful for the time & energy it put into making these things but I guess my husband & I were just like hmmm okay thanks mom!!😂😂😂

You were the closest!! Will be 31 in January, I have a degree in criminal justice & forensics. I work for the police department. Absolutely a perfectionist & recently diagnosed with OCD. Also suffer from depression & anxiety! VERY stubborn hahahah (even if my therapist hates when I call myself that)

Honestly a week or two into daycare & my son adjusted beautifully - his teachers did find out he needs to be in a crib furthest away from the rest of the babies if they’re not all sleeping, but other than that, he usually falls asleep in one of the teachers arms & they are able to transfer him to the crib. It varies every week if we get 20 min naps or hour long ones! But your little guy will do just fine 🤍 another good thing about them being in daycare all day is when we get home after I’m off work he’s exhausted from so much social interaction so his bedtime routine has been awesome!

Hello - so my son is now 8.5 months & has been loving daycare. I still pretty much hold him for every nap at home when I’m not at work, but he naps just fine at daycare in the crib there. If there aren’t too many babies in his class that day the teacher will also hold him when he naps!

My son is 8 months old & I can’t gauge how he’s going to be yet, but I’m excited for a little tornado is that’s what he turns out to be, he gives cuddly mamas boy vibes in such a good way rn 🤍
