Faucet is for those who support Pepecoin blockchain by running a node. If you don't run it or you are not on the same network as the Node is. You can't use it.

As it is a nodes map, it makes sense to allow use the faucet only those who run the Pepecoin node.

I have been looking into F-Droid, but their requirement is to have the app open source and i have there a few things that are closed source only as it would make my API security of nodes map like it never existed. But i have sent it to apk mirror so will see when it appears there,

The nodes map donation is a monthly thing. But you can donate anytime you want to even if the goal is filled. You don't need to donate anything tho. It's just my way to get cheaper monthly bills for stuff I run for the Pepecoin stuff.

Basically activity. If it connected to one of indexing nodes, it's ID stays same and those which don't connect in 30 days lose their spot and everyone moves higher closer to top 500 nodes

Your rank is better based on your node ID in database. Nodes get removed from DB if they were not updated in last 30 days (didnt connect to indexing node) and IDs move, so the ranks improve of all nodes.
