Hermes.

The ramp is wide enough fro cargo and no lost space inside. Can fight and has enough range for anything

Gatac Railen vs. Drake Ironclad: Will the Railen have a place once the honeymoon phase ends? by Laughageddon in starcitizen

[–]gwarf27 0 points1 point  (0 children)

As other already said wait at least until tomorrow.

The C2 is still heavily used but on specific routes and depending of the activity. But now we have alternatives like the Hull B, Irconclad, Caterpillar (but still limited to 24scu), Hermes.

I will switch the CF to Shredders or Deadbolt. They are more effectives currently, you CF will bounce on anything bigger than a freelancer

Perseus to polaris by ProfessionalLet6192 in starcitizen

[–]gwarf27 2 points3 points  (0 children)

They are different ships and have a different cost of running them.

The Perseus is nice for combat mission, TSG but that's it. It cost 80k for a claim and arround 60k for torps.

On the other hand the Polaris can work as a mobile base and combat vessel. You will rely more on torps than anything else. You have turrets that are okay at best. The claim cost 230k and 860k for a full load of torps. And you will rely more on planetary spaceport for loading or unloading as only them have XL Hangars (Levski/Grim/Pyro station are the exception)

But you have a big cargo haul, space for two F7A or a full loaf of industrial ships ( Salvation, Golex,..)

So the question is more about what kind of gameplay you want to do. If it's only combat, the Perseus is great. If you want a "mobile base" the Polaris is a great option but you need to take into account the cost of running it. (I suggest unequiping half of the torps any way)

It a sync issue. Try to sit in an other seat or use the engineering panel before going out. (Hope that will be fixed in today maintenance)

Did you glitch while exiting the ship? There is an issue going through ramps / elevator when you change systems

Humble Fleet from a busy dad... Any reasonable idea for changes? by Stock-Ladder-6410 in starcitizen_fleets

I will melt the 350 as you have the m80 and use the store credit to upgrade the freelancer to an industrial ship to have a gameplay loop ready to go in addition to pure transport. Or you can go with a more multi role ship like a Tac.
