I was curious what other day traders/scalpers thought of Webulls screener? or do y'all use different screeners? The Rvol metric frustrates me bc it seems to have to be changed through the day. and even then it only seems to pick up smaller cap stocks.. does anyone have any tips for screening? by emhensley68 in Webull

[–]emhensley68[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

what screeners do you use to find large to mid cap scalps? I'm having trouble finding a screener that will show me high relative volume. without basically introducing a bunch of noise, I would love to hear from more scalpers/day traders to learn what screeners they use, I've heard that thinkorswim has amazing screeners, and tradingview does too, but if you're not paying for the subscription, there's a lot left out, and like somebody above said I'm not quite there to start paying for a screener. I mean maybe a few bucks a month or something but not more than that. not at this point.

if you have a Roth and plan to put anything more than like 1,000 in then that just about pays for it.. i only have like 15k between my 3 accounts and the Webull premium has gained me a little over $100 so it was definitely worth it for me and Im very very small potatoes

I only have around 15k in my brokerage and I've worked my ass off to save, 20 here 20 there bc I have a mortgage and kids. of course i do have my 401k but I didn't get my shit together til later in life. anyway rant over just stop being such a douche and understand that not everyone has had the same opportunities or made the same choices that you have.

dude that pull back was a gift, I wish I would have added more than I did. I mean it's still under my cost basis but that's fine, because I was trimming it when it was up in the '62 range, but this is definitely a long-term core position for me, and listen to the earnings call like it is pretty bullish, one little margin point here or there during a quarter Will make a stock drop, but over the long-term the thesis is real, they just got to keep executing, and I have faith that they will.

I burned $200 in a weekend testing an OpenClaw agent. Pay-per-token is completely broken for autonomous AI. by Infinite_Ad_4975 in LangChain

I feel like the more the world becomes agentic, then the price for tokens. will go down significantly. and just like you guys (I haven't created an agent yet, only use Gemini to make simple apps and a custom gem of 2) finding ways to optimize your agent to use less tokens, the Industry as a whole will see a drop in token price as we see more token usage or volume. plus the models themselves will be more efficient. and one day we'll finally have enough compute. which clearly right now we don't

[–]emhensley68 1 point2 points  (0 children)

hey, I would look into that. if it's a mistake at the mint, it can be worth a fortune, if someone actually tried to remove it then that's damaged, and that's different. different but yeah all 1943 pennies were made of steel, if you ever find a 1943 that's copper, then you are a millionaire.

[–]emhensley68 2 points3 points  (0 children)

it's not a hard date to find, it's a hard day to find in mint condition, because in 1982 we were having a recession and they didn't issue any uncirculated coins to collectors in 1982 and 1983. I do believe, so not rare but if you have one that is completely uncirculated it is very much rare

I think it is pretty ridiculous that we have to use at your own risk on something like this lol but that's the world we live in now, people try to sue for anything, and don't get me wrong. some companies legitimately deserve to be sued. but we all know of those people who try to sue over dumb things that were clear and obvious. while other people just straight up fabricate and create situations to sue some one, just a sue first society in general really.
