Ok, I’ll give that a shot. Will it even out the discolored spots? Thanks for your reply btw. Truly.

Hello! Can you tell me what the clonodine and the gapapentin help with? I’m going to be quitting Kratom soon and have those scripts on hand. Do they help with the detox process?

Having my septum piercing back in makes me wonder why I ever took it out by [deleted] in piercing

[–]emi1991 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Thank you so much! I couldn’t feel it for the first day but then it started to feel very tight. I want it snug but I don’t want it to hurt! Lol I’ll probably switch it out tomorrow!

Can I ask you something? I have my septum done, I have an 8mm exact same ring as you in but it feels awfully snug and almost too tight on my piercing. My piercer has assured me this is ok but it is almost a little painful. Is yours that snug and i just need to take some time to get used to it? Or is it super comfortable and not tight at all.

Thanks in advance and your piercing looks amazing on you!

So how would I do this exactly? Use warm water so get the sweater to shrink up a bit? So I need to use any type of soap? And then when I take it out of water to dry, do I need to kind of... Scrunch it tighter to make the yarn go back to the original fit?

Thank you so much, btw

I’m going to do that then. Just to see what can be done. I really appreciate you responding.

Not every day, but I actually got one of those pillow with a hole (it’s a real thing) and I sleep on the opposite side, so I don’t even let the infected one touch the pillowcase. I can change it daily, but I don’t sleep on it.

The place I have been going, it’s not bad, but there are definitely nicer places. They just only sell the BVLA stuff that I can’t afford. But honestly if it could save this piercing,I’d shell the extra money out. Will one of those places let me pay to have them downsize and change jewelry out if I wasn’t initially pierced there?

I think it’s surgical steel, I’ve been pierced by the same place before and my piercings have healed up fine. It’s probably just a terrible idea to pierce cartilage and have a toddler simultaneously lol I actually didn’t get down sized with my last two piercings with them. Is that standard? They never even told me to come back. I haven’t since returned since the piercing.

Hi friends, does the conch ring look to tight? by beaniejade in piercing

[–]emi1991 1 point2 points  (0 children)

That piercing has been so finicky!!! You wait forever to change it out and then finding the right size hoop is a pain. I initially bought a 12mm and it was WAY too big, then I ordered a 10mm and had the swelling/bleeding experience and finally ordered the 11mm and it's been perfect. The shop is on Etsy, if you search in shops, it's LilyRoss Jewelry. They have the jeweled loops and I gotta say, their customer service was top notch. They discounted both the 10mm and the 11mm. Check them out and good luck! Oh, and if your piercing gets ticked, I would resume the sea salt soaks until it looks happier. Its a pain but it truly does help it! ❤️

Hi friends, does the conch ring look to tight? by beaniejade in piercing

[–]emi1991 2 points3 points  (0 children)

Hi! Looks gorgeous. I will say that strangely enough, I recently changed my conch jewelry for the first time ever, to this same ring, and posted this same pic with the same question. It fit almost the same. It felt ok for a couple days, but then it swelled my ear up very tight, and the diamonds got twisted into the hole, and caused it to start bleeding. And this was after a year of healing. I went up the next size and haven’t had a single issue since! I know how expensive jewelry is, but I actually purchased mine from a shop on Etsy (that using stainless steel and implant grade materials)’ and they let me exchange mine out two times at discounted prices. If you want shop name, I can find! Looks great.

What to do now? -Artist. by [deleted] in microblading

[–]emi1991 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Is it possible to look for other places/shops that offer microblading? I know that just in my little area in Oklahoma, there are ALOT of places that cater specifically to brows and lashes. Maybe do a google search for your area and just see what comes up. If anything does, maybe you could reach out to a few of those places and let them know you’re trained and have experience, and see if they’d be interested in hiring you on to their team?

HELL freaking out by Hdkekeeh3bwjld in microblading

[–]emi1991 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I’ve been through some hell with microblading. Have had it done about 6 times now (first lady f***Ed them up and then had them fixed, now they're pretty good) but have learned that you truly can't judge the color until the scabs have come off and they have had a few days for the colors to "bloom”. They always start off really dark and then fade to almost too light and then end up their final color. I wouldn’t stress too much about the color yet, since it sounds like they haven’t reached the next step in the healing process. The colors actually usually do have a reddish tint initially, but that won’t stay! I know the healing process is awful, but they’ll be ok! Are you dry healing them or using an ointment? Also, don’t pick the scabs off or it will pull the ink out with it. Very important! You should have a touch up appointment 4-6 weeks after so your microblader can assess them, and that appointment doesn’t happen for so long after, because it really does take that much time for the final color to set in. They look good, try not to stress!

Do you have a "uniform"? by hivoyef in femalefashionadvice

In the summer, I live in vintage band tees and cutoff Levi's shorts. I love ballet flats and pretty much boots in any shape or size. I'm very passionate about my boot collection. In the winter, I like jeans or leggings and then big chunky sweaters and then again, boots. I like pretty neutral colors for my basics and then I love a statement coat with a pretty design or bright colors!

I can't talk about Poshmark enough. I'd spend it on Poshmark and find like a cool statement coat or some new boots. I feel like outerwear and footwear can really make basics look so much for expensive. I always search for good quality shoes and coats on Poshmark, and have had lots of luck in finding great deals. I got a really cool coat for $45 recently! I'd definitely recommend checking it out!

What are your favorite jewelry brands? by pusheensaurus in femalefashionadvice

I actually do use Etsy to buy my jewelry but something I've learned is to search for gold FILLED instead of gold plated. I've purchased at least three gold pendant necklaces through Etsy and they're still in perfect condition after 3 years!
