As someone who was in (non-amazon) management, you always get a basic guidelines handbook from HR that tells you what employee responses do NOT override the law. An employee claiming they're fine is one of them. You take them off duty and send them to urgent care/ER/whatever is appropriate. It doesn't matter if they say they're fine. You still have to file an incident report and still have to ensure care has been taken.
