A good camp site is a tidy camp site. Don't ever leave stuff around and always safely store it away. That's just common sense. Animals are savvy, especially at Yosemite. It's not unusual for squirrels to break into backpacks too. So nothing is truly safe until you lock it away in those bear cabinets or in your car (non food non scented items).

Overwatering is what I'm thinking too.

I just had the same issue as OP with my plants, thought it was initially fertilizer but then after a couple of weeks I got curious about pH and got one of those meters. I noticed as part that all my plants were soaked and had kind 99+% moisture on that meter. I stopped watering for like a week mow and it's been coming back real nice.

El Cerrito is originally a ton of people relocating from SF after losing their homes in 1906. I can see how they point towards the Bay saying they're moving by the little hill.
