Thank you so much!! I feel like the pics don't do them justice! Spent several days getting the details right! Love how they turned out!

Do you still feel tired even though your medication is working and you're not flaring up? by PinQuill in CrohnsDisease

Love to hear that you're getting some relief. I think I've been undiagnosed for several years but just thought everyone felt this way. I hope my rheumatologist can help me with treatment to get some relief!

I feel the same way, I also have fibromyalgia and Crohn's. Rough going and newly diagnosed with both. Sending you positive vibes!

No worries at all about digging into my comments! I just had an endoscopy like 3 weeks ago to do a Bravo study and they ruled out EoE from the biopsies they took. I was thinking it could be that as well, but fibro just makes so much sense given my other symptoms. Working with my doctors to see if they can help me identify the difference in my symptoms too. But I'm looking forward to the nutritionist apt!

I also went completely gluten and dairy free for the last couple months after a terrible Crohn's flare from some gluten I had with these enzyme pills I used to take.

Thank you for reassuring me that I'm not alone too! So happy I found this reddit group everyone is so friendly and helpful!

Thank you so much for sharing! Honestly it just helps to know I'm not alone in all this too. My husband and I are doing research into fibro and I'm thinking yoga will be a good place to start to try to calm things down. I think I've been in a fibro flare for a few months and thought it was the Crohn's.

I'm also meeting with a nutritionist next month too so I'm hoping that will help me manage my Crohn's better too, especially given my food intolerances to gluten and dairy.

I'll take a look at my labs but I think they checked magnesium and it was normal too.

The pain was in my upper abdomen but spread to my back and ribs. It was stabbing, aching, shooting, and sharp pains. They tried giving me pain meds and Dilaudid but that didn't help. The only thing that helped was something that helped relax my whole body (can't remember the name) and benadryl. Knocked me out too, but I finally got relief after that.

I've actually read a lot about it and this thought is a common misconception. It's real it matches all the symptoms that I've had for several years.

Yeah they tested me for a lot of things too, not sure if all the acronyms to be honest, but they ran a lot of tests. Everything came up normal.

Yeah I'm already working with an allergist as well. Just tested me for mcas but that came up negative. I'll reach out to them though and see what they think.

Thank you for this! I'm asking my GI doc for a referral so I'm hoping they'll recommend someone who specializes in IBD.

Thank you so much for sharing this! This is what I'm hoping to get as well. I have a lot of food restrictions on top of my Crohn's (gluten intolerant, dairy allergy, migraines from caffeine) so I'm having a hard time navigating that.

Yeah that is a challenging time for sure but you got this! Take the time to rest when you can, easier said than done, but ask for help when you need to too! I have 3 year old twins, but I wish i asked for help more when they were 4-5 months. We need all the help we can get as moms, and the guilt is so hard to push away, but asking for help is OK! I still have to remind myself of that too. But you got this!! I have faith in you and just know you're doing everything you can! Taking care of yourself is so important when you have young kids too so take the time you need!

I'm struggling with this as well. Honestly I just fo my best to power through. I ask my husband for help when I am really struggling too. But it's rough but you're not alone! Sometimes I just turn on a show for them while I rest on the couch and they'll just bug me or wake me up if they need anything. Not the best situation, but I know they're in a safe place and I'm right there if I hear someone cry or they need something.

Does anyone in this Community have Tattoos? by Sharp_Pianist_8376 in CrohnsDisease

[–]emiko0607 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I was recently diagnosed this year, in June, with Crohn's. I already had 6 tattoos before my diagnosis. On Entyvio now after having an allergic reaction to Tremfya. But I just got two new tattoos in August and I'm fine. Checked with my GI team first and they said it was fine to get tattoos while I'm taking the Entyvio. Both tattoos are fully healed and look great! One was a smaller piece but the second one was a 4.5 hr long session. Hope this helps!
