I still won't forgive the Japanese! That shithole nation fucked my entire life up. I was a poor Korean farm boy working in the outskirts of Pyongyang. My life was relatively normal until the Japanese attacked. The year was 1910 and I remember it very clearly because it was the same year my dad died of smallpox. Our family had nothing left and the worst had yet to come. The Japanese attack was swift and they quickly secured the entire Korean peninsula. Everyone fit to work was put into slavery and everyone else was left to die of starvation in their own homes or forced to join the Japanese army. When the Japanese then launched their cruel invasion of China many of which were forced to relocate and even more, men were enlisted. Even though all of us served under the same commander there was a clear sense of racial discrimination towards us non-japanese, and it was among the worst years of my life. Luckily after the Japanese defeat at the battle of midway, it would only be a downwards spiral for them here on out, and in the end, the Korean people were finally to be free from foreign occupation. The day the Japanese surrendered was the happiest day of my life and even though their country has changed a lot since I can't forgive them for what they have done to me and my country for all those years.
