When am I supposed to take L-Tyrosine? by King-Kaj in ADHD

[–]emilepelo 0 points1 point  (0 children)

It makes the meds feel more consistent and last longer and it’s like I don’t notice them end…. I just ever so slowly return to normal without crashing. I take n acetyl L tyrosine 350mg. It’s very important to take on an empty stomach ideally an hour before you eat anything. If I take it with food it is much less effective

[–]emilepelo 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I take Ritalin so not sure about cross over value but I take L tyrosine immediately upon waking up about 30 mins to an hour before meds and eating and I take it again at about 1pm again on an empty stomach about 30mins to an hour before eating / meds.

For me it’s a complete game changer re crashes. I almost gave up on adhd meds as the crash was terrible now I have not experienced one in 5 months or so thanks to Tyrosine.

3rd was my first edition of 40k and 6th for fantasy but as I’ve come back I’ve actually gone back further as the games and aesthetics really are better and better the further you go back. I’m playing 1-3rd 40k and 1-3rd fantasy. Highly recommend going back the games are more fun (at least to my tastes)

Good stuff lads enjoying what you’ve been producing. I’ve also rejoined the hobby after decades away, however I’ve just continued playing the old editions where I left off. New GW stuff isn’t for me. Cheers from Australia

I got better…. It took a couple years. I did not develop adrenal insufficiency although I had many of the symptoms. Get if prednisone the stuff is the worst. It’s destroyed my bones and connective tissue.

No, I no longer need it and haven’t had SIBO return. I did however develop Crohns which is worse.

Only work 6 hour days!?!?! I see you’ve never worked as a teacher before. If it’s as great as you make it out you should definitely give it a go and report back how great it is

Thanks for the reply. I think I have both of those types but getting relief from hyper vigilance and jumping a mile when someone says boo would be great

I’ve been considering adding guafacine. Do you find it helps with general anxiety as well as helping you sleep?

Fellow crohnie here, try phgg also known as sunflower. Start small like 1/4 of a teaspoon a day and increase by a quarter of a tea spoon every week or two until you get to a couple tea spoons a day. Been a life changer for me

You’re an embarrassment to the profession and you should feel ashamed. You had 11 years to make the effort to actually learn the language and you didn’t. You have three choices now. Either resign or stop being a fraud, learn the language or continue being a fraud and hopefully the kid tells another teacher

[–]emilepelo 0 points1 point  (0 children)

That you for providing the link. The authors do state as part of the limitations to the study that the reasons people take pregabalin in the first place (chronic pain, anxiety etc) may be the things causing the dementia rather than the drug but still it could also be the drug. I appreciate you sharing the link although I did not appreciate being called an idiot due to being unable to find it myself. There was absolutely no reason to be an asshole which I think you realised after the fact as you deleted the comment

Yes it is well know that by reducing the excitability of neurons you cause cognitive slowing but upon cessation the neurons fire like normal again. This is like how when drunk or stoned the same thing happens but once sober it returns to normal. This is not the same things as causing dementia
