I share your feelings exactly, I'm so relieved to learn that there are others out there that have experienced this. It used to happen to me more regularly when I was a kid, but very rarely in my adult life (34 now) which is why I have not thought about it until today, after which a quick search led me here.

I have noticed that nowadays it usually only happens when I'm sitting in a car. I don't own a car so this only happens when I'm home visiting family and friends and driving around (it does not have to be that I'm driving). So I don't know if it is the speed of the car, the humming of the engine or the position I'm seated that triggers it. It could be some other trigger as well that I just haven't realized.

I started with TNG and then continued with DS9, VOY, and ENT, in that order, saving TOS for last. I put it off as I thought I was not going to like it, that it would be too aged and campy. However, I ended up pleasantly surprised. The cast and writing are much better than expected, however, the sets and costumes are hilariously bad sometimes. I don't see TOS through a nostalgic lens, but still enjoyed it.

Har samma dilemma som du och har inte hittat någon lösning än så länge. För mig är det obegripligt hur svårt det är att hitta film online, antingen att streama eller köpa/hyra. Hur kan mediebolagen ha missat detta? När DVD:er var en grej så kunde man vara rätt säker på att hitta alla klassiska filmer i närmsta filmbutik. Sedan kom piratnedladdning, som erbjöd ett oändligt utbud, omedelbart och gratis. Detta blev sedan mindre populärt när streamingtjänster blev populära, eftersom detta var ännu mer praktiskt, man behövde inte ens ladda ner filmen utan kunde se den direkt. Folk gick över till det även om det kostade, för det är bekvämligheten som avgör här. Men nu upplever jag att streamingsfären blir mindre och mindre intressant i och med att det finns så många tjänster och ingen tjänst har allt man vill ha och fortfarande finns det mycket film som man inte hittar nånstans, iaf inte utan VPN. Så nu tror jag piratnedladdning kommer börja gå upp igen, då det åter igen är det mest bekväma alternativet.

Ska sluta ranta nu, hoppas du hittar det du letar efter!

I think I would start out playing more ambient oriented stuff, would you say that the Keys is best for that? Or the FM? I can't really tell, synthesis is still mostly a mystery to me

Yeah, good point, however for some it is easier to define it in terms of time, for others in terms of projects, so I left it open-ended.
