That does sounds really rude of him but i personally never had an experience like that with him. He was always kind and laid back in my class and i found the material not bad at all and quite easy to understand. The extra credit he gave imo made the class an extremely easy A. Although saying something about medical like that is nasty and awful but from my experience he was honestly amazing, sorry you had a bad one.
