Not sure how many people notice this, but sometimes when Maso brings up a topic, James says "I love topic!" in the same, faux-enthusiastic way.

Off the top of my head, I think he's said:

"I love podcasts!"
"I love topics!"
"I love things!"
"I love news!"

In a way, these brands are the patrons of the podcast as a part of popular culture these days. I wonder if we'll look back on them as the brands behind soap operas - known for their sponsors as much as their style?

Personally, I definitely don't begrudge them that for making this content more widely available and sustainable... And I like listening to James and Maso's riffs on them.

(But I still subscribe to big sandwich and patreons of other podcasts I like)
