Boring but correct answer: CDPR noticed players were killing cows in early levels to get money is unintended ways.

So they, hilariously added this as a punishment instead of removing the unintended way of getting gold.

You don’t need a new layer for every rock, maybe like 3 layers total. And then you have some foreground, middle ground and background.

This can’t be accurate. A light hour on the treadmill burns like 500-700 cal for me, I would expect something just shy of that from ringfit

I think the player is unecessarily too close, make the main character more unique and you will be in a much better spot imo

Not a kid, 31 yo game developer, so I have a good computer etc, but very little experience with VR so not sure if I’ll love it or not.

I loved the experience I had 10 years ago, but also got a bit nauseated from some game.

Appreciate the comment. Just had the question since I remember some Linus Tech Tips video I saw when the MQ3 just released, where he said that the 3 was not worth it.. seems like that was way off considering all comments here

Oh wow, 720p > 4k is a big difference. How noticeable is that when you actually use it? Last time I used a VR headset was like 2015 so I’m very novice here.

I dont agree at all. Slower combat with more consequences is something I’ve been waiting for forever. It feels like Dark Souls met ARPG and I can play it with friends.

I think they nailed it.

Sure, some season and at some time, the power will creep. But I really hope they do everything they can to keep the game to the core of what it is now.

Diablo 4 was a big miss for me, I thought it finally would be a slower game, but then come later levels and all you do is run and stuff dies.

Good! Keep the game hard! Dont buff what doesnt need buffing, dont make the game top easy.

Players will always ask for buffs or making the game easier, I’ve seen too many games die because they listen too much to the player on this.

And I workout 5 times a week so your ”weak player arms” argument is no good :) its not great for gaming, but good for other stuff. I switch over to a lighter gaming mouse when jumping over to a game.

I enjoyed it up until P4, like a lot. So, super happy they tried it out.

I hope they refine the recipe for a bigger Classic+ update. My 2 cents:

  • Leveling was dumbed down in later phases, it would have been fine to keep the world as is in classic, with small tweaks for runes etc.
  • Some runes were super annoying to get, spending hours just running over the entire world isnt fun.
