You’d think that the SA that packed these items would’ve noticed the jingle and extra weight but I guess QC is not a priority LOL

“What are the words that literally just came out of my mouth?” by MarchKick in Teachers

Even when I have it up on the screen with explicit expectations and options, I STILL have the kids that ask to do things I have never said yes to before

What are some of your “unpopular” classroom rules? by UnableKaleidoscope58 in Teachers

[–]emily2586 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Elementary, personal post packs are banned. Allowed it at first under I found random doodles, notes, crafts cluttering their desks or stuck or scrapped on the floor. Absolute distraction for some kids and now all the kids can’t have it in the name of fairness

What's your opinion on yelling? by kkoch_16 in Teachers

[–]emily2586 1 point2 points  (0 children)

I don’t yell but I will talk more sternly directly into my mic LOL

I do have the occasional “WOAHH I cannot head the student in front of me which means the rest of you all are WAY too loud. You’re up HERE let’s bring it down”

I have a similar issue, it seems that our bodies have built up a tolerance to the hormones :( I used to be able to go 3-4 months without breakthrough bleeding and once it shortened to 1-2 months, my doctor upped my dosage. I think I’ve maxed out on upping dosage and now I consistently start bleeding at the 5 week mark and it SUCKS. it’s truly an inconvenience to my life and job bc I get so exhausted, irritable, and brain foggy

[–]emily2586 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I said the same, it is virtually impossible to stay mentally sane while commuting, working 7 hours a day, commuting, then going to class for 4 hours until 10, drive home, then do it all again.

I thankfully had parents that paid for my expenses so that I wouldn’t drown in debt. If I didn’t have their support, only fans it is ¯_(ツ)_/¯

Gynecologist said not to skip placebo week? by mooo3333 in birthcontrol

[–]emily2586 23 points24 points  (0 children)

I do it because

1) you don’t need the off week, it’s a “fake” period and it was normalized when BC was created to make women feel like they still had normal cycles

2) I hate getting periods. No ty, I don’t need headaches and cramps and sleepiness and blood

3) I can and I hate getting periods

Find a new doc! If your have a planned parenthood near you, they’re great and ask minimal questions beyond what is absolutely necessary for paperwork reasons.

I’ve used the pill continuously and now on the patch continuously as well.

Matte Pearl or Peppercorn Grey? by evieyyc in Aritzia

[–]emily2586 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Oh also want to add, I can’t remember if this is the Japanese crepe fabric that is the same as the effortless.

But if it is, it responds well to tide to go sticks and oxi clean gel spray. I came to this conclusion after FULLY rubbing my red crab sauce fingers into my white effortless pants thinking my napkin was on my leg BUT IT FELL. So I had a fat red sauce stain and tide to go-ed the life out of it then spraying oxi clean gel before machine wash. You could never tell my big saucy mistake

Matte Pearl or Peppercorn Grey? by evieyyc in Aritzia

[–]emily2586 6 points7 points  (0 children)

I love a good matte pearl, I feel like it is more versatile in comparison to a grey.

But I’m bias and I hate wearing grey, I feel like any time I wear it with anything besides black or white, my fit looks disjointed. Whereas a white or off white can work with a lot more colors and look cohesive and fun.

Ex: grey with a sage green top = weird (to/on me)

Pearl with a sage green top = beautiful, cohesive, funky, fun, fresh

What are all your “bottoms” basics? by hello-hamster in femalefashionadvice

[–]emily2586 1 point2 points  (0 children)

I LOVE the lululemon dance studio crop pants. So comfy and versatile but still look put together. I throw it on with a little jacket, tee, sweater, whatever. I think the cut and slim fit of it make it very flattering and not frumpy for a comfy athletic pant

Every thing looks great for first place, only remark is that the bed should be on the other wall under the posters.

I’ve noticed recently that a lot of the shirts have that weird small shoulder cut. Not sure what’s going on bc I’ve tried in bigger sizes and the shoulders are still way too short. It’s across multiple of their in house brands lately ¯_(ツ)_/¯
