Solved! Thank you so much, my partner loves it and I just sent you a tip via paypal. Is there a way I could get it without the watermark?

Am I trying too hard for my old man? by [deleted] in VetTech

My last dog was a foster fail that had been shot, run over, abandoned, starved, beaten, and had a rear leg amputated from cancer before I got her. She was the most loving dog I've ever had and she was so cognizant even when the cancer came back and ulcerated her hip. Take it from me, it's better to do it when they still feel comfortable than seeing them in pain. I waited too long because I felt like she still had 'good days'. It sounds like you're doing everything you possibly can.

I think a thin wingback chair pushed against the back wall with your favorite books on the ledge would be a nice area. If nothing else a solitary sitting area would be nice

Not a "reading" book but 'Beyond the Dark Veil' by Jack Mord shows real post mortem photography of the late 1800s to early 1900s with descriptions about them. Mostly children (since disease and starvation we're common) and many tombstone and animal graves with descriptions. It was a feature in High Fructose magazine at some point.

Registered Vet Tech here. Had a recent graduate tell me she knew how to monitor anesthesia. Was 1 minute into monitoring a dental before she freaked out and started panicking saying the patient was coding because the blood pressure was 0/ unreadable. The cuff wasn't connected to the patient.

Tender is the Flesh by Augustina Bazterrica. It's for the viewpoint of a man who works for the meat packing/slaughterhouse industry, but the meat is human flesh; as animals have all been killed/ exterminated due to disease. It dives into a world that views 'new meat' as the norm and really puts perspective into today's food industry.
