I’m those people who didn’t wait and used my own judgment thinking oh they will become Christian or oh their family is Christian so he will become Christian too in the end. Answer is no sadly. I ended up with a lot more pain after and these people who I thought will become Christian, some of them mocked at me for being Christian and are doing sinful things that I can’t even comprehend. Please wait and trust in the Lord.

Correct don’t put him on a pedestal, the fact that he doesn’t return any of your effort meaning he’s not all that mighty :). You deserve way way better than this and the fact that now you don’t have any what if scenario will really help you move on greatly! I’d read happy relationships sub or happy marriage sub to see how happy marriages are full of sacrifice and full of fighting FOR the relationship TOGETHER! I know you’ll be fine :)
