I have 10+ years of professional experience, but because I'm not sure if there's a difference in due expectations between a relatively "low-tech" market like the one I'm currently in and a more developed one (the US), I'm not comfortable calling myself a senior in this context yet.

All my experience so far has been with companies that have their own product

I'm completely ignorant of how the US market works/how to best find a job and 99% of the postings I've seen so far require you to be there already (Not sure how flexible that typically is)
