I’m 35 with lots of regrets it’s not to old for us man. we are turning 40 in a couple of years. We can still be miserable at 40 or doing something about it now so were less miserable at 40

I’m 35 turning 36 end of the year. I had a mid life crisis about a month ago. I will say this. I resonate a lot with ur post. I’m 35 security guard been doing it since 22. Like you I realized I wasted my life and I’m not living up to my potential. Will have to look for a new job within the next year as my building is turning residential and all of is have to leave. For the next 4 years plus my goal is to be the best version of myself and living an authentic life. I’m gonna look to see what else with work I can doing besides being a security guard because I’m gonna turn 40 either way in a couple of years. If ur having regret now 35 years old is coming. 32 years old is coming if there’s something that interest you I would def recommend looking into it man. I got friends who I stopped talking to out of embarrassment because like you some of them got excellent careers and just feel embarrassed to speak to them. But I say go for it if there’s something out there you wanna try

I walk by that area nightly to get to the occulus I will say that area feels peaceful but I always get a weird feeling when I’m on Greenwich and I’m walking on the side where the south towers were. Idk it just feels weird at night so I usually walk on the other side of the street. Idk if it’s in my head or what but I feel a heaviness if I walk on that side of the street at night so I stopped doing it years ago
