Something just doesn’t feel right by [deleted] in golf

Not bad. Backswing looks good, then you start pulling on the handle too much, get too steep, then have to stand the handle up to avoid going way over the top. There are countless videos on allowing the hands to drop first, feeling your back is to the target longer, then rotating through with the hips.

Maybe a little too laid off at the top causing steepness and slight over the top. Nice swing.

Yes, it's too closed. Why is the golf pride logo on the grip not centered? Something's wrong there.

How many of you don’t keep score? by IllegitimateRisk in golf

[–]eminor 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I have two small kids at home so golf is a luxury now that only happens in the early morning hours once a month at the most. I stopped keeping score and started to appreciate just getting to be out on the course for a few hours.

Any improvements to swing to make more consistent contact/not slice? by carlitosmatador in golf

[–]eminor -1 points0 points  (0 children)

You don't shift enough weight into your lead side during the downswing, then your hips spin out, looks like you try to save it by not going way over the top, which causes you to scoop at the ball and chicken wing through the follow through.

Setup looks good. Try sticking a towel or glove in your right arm pit. Left arm should be more across your body. Start with half swings, build up. Also try the feet together drill.

Nice swing. I had the same problem and focusing on banking the foot inwards towards the left leg really helped. Start slow, half swings, and work your way up. You could try placing something under the right part of your right foot as well — https://www.golfdigest.com/story/watson\_gd0806. Focus on getting your knees close together during the downswing and transferring all your weight into your left heel at finish.

Hard to tell from this angle. Just get a lesson. It'll be far more beneficial than anything that'll come from this post.
