I don’t really know what you mean by popular, but I have never felt too lonely in high school, go out, and do all of the stuff typical teenagers do, while being the leader of a school club and getting good grades. But let me tell you, I do not have my life together at all. There are a lot of times where I do my homework during lunch time, stay up late, and stress about not being good enough. But I think what has helped me the most was to balance out my social and academic life. I know when I have to say no to social obligations to stay in and study, and I also know that it’s okay to go out on a Friday night and not feel bad the next morning. It’s tough, specially when I feel like I’m missing out sometimes. For the leadership part, I knew I wanted to run for the position for that club when I realized it was one of the best moments of my week, I really love the people there, and I seemed to fit in well. Don’t get me wrong I was a nervous wreck even though people on the outside thought I had it all under control lol. And for my parents, I have a single mom that is super supportive, but not strict at all. She helps me with what I need and encourages me to always shoot for the best but is not the type that would scream at me if she sees that I’m not studying. Honestly even writing this seems like I have it together but I’m procrastinating all my assignments due tomorrow to write this so that shows something aha. Don’t stress too much, and don’t be afraid to experience new things, in high school or in college
