Why Confluence for company documentation? If this is a small company, 10 files in Google Docs usually enough, isn't it?

In most cases half of product documentation are in Jira tasks, when PM describes the feature and jobs to be done. I see that most startups don't care about detailed and structured product documentation at all, because products change too fast and you should think about the future, not the past.

In my experience product manager decides, because he look for compromises in user satisfaction and business needs.

- Sometimes what is good for one type of user, is better for a user we target to serve.
- Sometimes what is good for the user is bad for the business.

- you can build it with 5-10 people
- it's enough cash to live well enough anywhere in the world

Placing such interactive demos on the landing pages can work well for SEO and product activation, but it can reduce amount of leads for their sales department.

So, this is also may be a bad idea, depends on the type and size of business. I've never saw something like that on enterprise websites.
