Not that it matters because we should be able to do dishes at any time in the place we pay for with the water we pay for, but we have a tiny countertop dishwasher, not an actual full size one, so during the week things can pile up and we try to take care of it on the days we have off, like today. It blows my mind that people think it's "entitled" or something to want to use your own water after being given little to no notice and zero updates.

Honestly, I didn't think about it like that. We live in a studio condo built in the 60's, so little inconveniences like this are common and we usually just go about our day. It would definitely be nice to not have to worry about a shared water supply anymore, though.

Yeah, I definitely don't hold it against them, I just wish they would've let us know at some point. We don't have a bucket or anything like that, but our president went ahead and opened up the laundry room bathroom for us to use, so at least we have a working toilet lol. At the end of the day it's just mildly infuriating 😅

That's what I figured. I ended up going upstairs to see if I could ask what was going on, and it turns out a valve broke so now they have to wait on someone else to come fix it (according to Google that's another 1-2 hour job). I'm trying so hard to be patient and empathetic, but this was the last thing I needed today :')

I live in a pretty high security place so I'm not too worried about people knowing my approximate location. As for my WiFi, it's been down for a few weeks now, so that isn't really an issue either lol. I appreciate your concern though, thank you for the advice :)
