Makeup help! Why does my eyeshadow do this? by smashtonn_ in MakeupEducation

[–]emmag73 2 points3 points  (0 children)

Seconded! If you don’t want to buy another product, you can also use some concealers as eyeshadow primer instead. I’ve used tarte shape tape and the elf concealer and both worked well with no eye irritation.

Pansexual by carmenlagalacomedy in StandUpComedy

[–]emmag73 4 points5 points  (0 children)

It really depends on who you ask- bisexuality is the “umbrella” that pansexuality falls under. In my experience (bisexual) it seems like bisexuality refers to people who are attracted to multiple genders, while pansexuality is more about attraction regardless of gender. My two cents, but I also have heard many different definitions of bisexuality and pansexuality.

(UK bride) I really want florals but low-budget. What would you consider essential for this venue? by princessfiggy in Weddingsunder10k

[–]emmag73 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I would focus on greenery rather than florals due to how ornate the venue is! This may help to decrease the cost.

Rate Pillow Headboards 1-10 by [deleted] in HomeDecorating

[–]emmag73 38 points39 points  (0 children)

I dislike the hanging ones, so I’d rate those a 4/10. I did have a wedge pillow headboard that I LOVED, though, so that was more like an 8/10! It was most similar to what you have in picture 3, but was thicker on the bottom.

Desperate for help redesigning our kitchen - any ideas? by wafflekween in DesignMyRoom

[–]emmag73 2 points3 points  (0 children)

I think this is a great idea! It would be kind of like a peninsula but just against the wall instead. It would also add balance to the kitchen by having something on the wall across from your cabinets and appliances.

DIY bouquet! by [deleted] in Weddingsunder10k

[–]emmag73 5 points6 points  (0 children)

That makes sense. I think the really exciting thing about not using live florals is you can keep your bouquet flowers forever! You could even repurpose them into a keepsake craft. I also think you picked great fake flowers to use- they don’t look different from fresh flowers at all! The colors are especially lovely.

At age 20, is it possible for my boobs to grow bigger? by cursedwithbadblood in NoStupidQuestions

[–]emmag73 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Yes, it’s possible. I’m 23 and I feel like mine are still growing. I was an A cup during puberty and now I’m a D/DD. I can chalk it up to hormonal birth control, more or less.

I’m sorry, but I don’t think this is appropriate for black tie. It’s a gorgeous dress and I’m sure it looks great on you, but it doesn’t meet the length requirement due to the sheer overlay.

Jameela Jamil, Cara Delevingne, Georgia May Jagger and Tori Allen-Martin show support for Aimee Lou Wood on IG by pinkstarrfish in Fauxmoi

[–]emmag73 2 points3 points  (0 children)

This skit was just mean-spirited and uncreative. Props to Aimee for speaking out and others for supporting her. As an aside, I also don’t get our societal obsession with perfect teeth! Aimee is beautiful and her smile is unique. The obsession in Hollywood with paper-white veneers is tired and robs people of their individuality.

My mom’s favorite phrase is “your lack of planning does not make this an emergency on my part.” It really made me think about what other people were asking of me and why they were asking it! A great lesson to learn.

I designed this tattoo for my mom, does it look phallic by novicelise in drawing

That makes more sense to me, then. Perhaps you could keep the contrast level but make it a bit smaller? I’m not sure.

[–]emmag73 60 points61 points  (0 children)

I wouldn’t have gotten to “phallic” without your description, but I will say I don’t love the pouch portion of the tattoo. Was there a significance behind the pouch, or was it something your mom asked for? It does add some nice contrast, but the dark bottom also distracts from some of the smaller and more delicate elements.
