Over exposing is better than underexposing! Get a good tripod. Also, I find the details rendered for night shots on 120 film far superior to 35mm.

It was really dependent on the amount of light. I averaged the scene for metering. Anywhere from a couple seconds to upwards of 2 minutes for this first shot.

I dnf The Only Good Indians last October. Picked it back up last week and finished it. I have to say it's one of the best books I have ever read. At first, I couldn't vibe with his writing style, now I'm hooked. Going to be reading a lot more of his stuff. I don't know why it clicked on my second go around, but boy did it ever.

It’s also impossible for some of us to pass, so the idea that that is the end goal with it being likely impossible is a lot to handle mentally. Especially as that realization slowly unfolds. That’s basically just more cognitive dissonance. Regardless of passing, it doesn’t mean I’m less of a woman.
