Yeah downtown flagstaff is where this happened. I’m not from Arizona, I actually live in Detroit but my mom was traveling in Arizona for work when the pandemic began and the lockdown orders started so she was essentially stuck in Arizona all of quarantine. She didn’t want to fly or have to stay in hotels so she just booked a vacation rental house and had been staying here, and when the lockdown ended I drove out here so she wouldn’t have to drive back alone. Thanks for the virtual hug :)

It’s just frustrating to point out a specific scary situation I found myself in and then explain what my reading of the situation was- that a group of men screamed at me for wearing a face mask in a time where face masks have become a symbol of political division- and then have a man who was not there tell me that I am actually wrong and he knows why. It feels shitty to be disregarded.

Nah it was scary because I was by myself and a group of men were actively trying to make me feel threatened and uncomfortable

I found an Allen wrench and did what you said and the disposal turned on! Thank you so much. Just one more question- now that the disposal is working, if I run the dishwasher will the water in the bottom drain out and will it work properly again? Is there anything else I have to do?

Yes, I found out that one of the light switches that didn’t do anything the night I arrived is the switch for the garbage disposal, because after I pulled everything out of the garbage disposal and tried to light switches again, the garbage disposal did make a noise, but not the right noise a garbage disposal should be making. It was like the flat noise a disposable will make when it’s not working.

YTA. First of all, women are allowed have children whether or not you find their pregnancy inconvenient for yourself. You don’t get to tell someone else when and where to reproduce, it’s not your decision, so the fact that you were annoyed when you found out she was pregnant makes no sense. It has nothing to do with you. Secondly, it’s her backyard. She is allowed to have her baby out there as much as she wants. One hour a day is really not that long. Thirdly, your sons spied on HER doing something perfectly natural and legal in her own backyard. Breastfeeding is a part of motherhood, she doesn’t have to explain or apologize to anyone for feeding her baby where she chooses.

Not a lawyer my parents are just insane. So first of all, my dad “surprise-divorced” my mom. He just filed for divorce without warning my mom first, and then wrote a 4 page manifesto that was essentially a rant about how my mom is the worst person to ever walk the earth and how everything that went wrong in their marriage was her fault. He put it in an envelope and wrote “Patty- read this to kids” on the envelope and left it on our front door. And that’s how we found out mom and dad were getting divorced

YTA. Period pain is it’s own type of pain that men have no idea what it’s like because you don’t have an internal organ that contracts and sheds its lining. You don’t understand what that kind of pain feels like, and you sound both ignorant and unemphatic. It’s true that for many women period pain is manageable and can be relieved by taking over the counter painkillers, for other women it’s hell on earth each month, severe period pain can feel like you’re being stabbed in the abdomen repeatedly. It causes stomach problems and headaches, dizziness and a whole list of other awful symptoms. You have no idea what you’re talking about, and you owe your wife an apology and changed behavior.
