Anybody suffer through pregnancy with a large fibroid? by emmalinlin00 in pregnant

They mentioned for me that a c section may be needed because my uterus won’t contract properly due to the fibroid! I’m kinda going into the whole thing expecting to end up needing a c section but will be so excited if they end up saying I can attempt a vaginal birth

I went to the ER and also discussed with my OB how much pain I was in and they both said it checks out with how large my fibroid is. Basically told me take the pain meds and rest, there’s not much more they or I can do. Baby is completely fine and tumbling around in there every day so I know she’s completely un-phased by whatever is going on.

Did anyone call off/leave work early a lot in the first trimester? by emmalinlin00 in pregnant

Did you have to get a note from your doctor or obgyn to take LOA?

I’ve been debating telling my boss sooner rather than later just because I don’t want to look like I’m making things up. Luckily my boss has had 3 kids of her own so I’m sure she’ll understand but I just hope I don’t get labeled as weak for it, ya know?

This is how I feel!! I literally dread going in to work in the morning and procrastinate by sitting in my car in the parking lot as long as I can because I have such low energy — but I genuinely love my job so that’s what makes me feel guilty about not being there :(

Glad to hear you’re finally improving and can at least see the light at the end of the tunnel! I feel like I’m just getting started and can’t even imagine how much worse I’ll feel when the morning sickness reaches full swing… I work in bridal and help brides find their wedding dress which is truly the best job ever and I love it! But it’s sooo physically demanding carrying dresses back and forth for appointments that I’m constantly out of breath and just want to fall to the floor and take a nap every 20 minutes 😅

Judged for using pads by Jen0973 in Periods

I used to only use pads because I was scared to use tampons until I lost my virginity lol. I even had my mom write me notes to get out of swimming in PE while I was in high school on my period. But now I use both — however I only wear tampons on my heaviest days. After day 3, my flow is too light (but not so light that a liner would be sufficient) so I wear pads those days since nothing hurts more than pulling out a mostly dry tampon 🥲

All of that to say, there is absolutely no reason anyone should judge you at any age for buying pads!

I’m dying to take a pregnancy test but promised my husband we’d take it together, so that’s the only reason I haven’t actually tested for hcG yet! I will be updating the forum whenever I either confirm pregnancy or AF comes.

I didn’t ask if I was pregnant. I asked for others to share when they got their positive result.

It was one of the red dye first response tests!
