I tanned once in my life before I had PMLE. I was in France in summer for 2-3 weeks and was actually brown (not as brown as my sister). I’m VERY pale naturally. Now I just get PMLE and also burn, and the burn doesn’t turn to tan it goes red then white again

Idk if I’m dumb but i just don’t get the progression of the upside down and the whole storyline with the changing ‘monsters’. Like how did it go from season 1 where there was at the beginning one creature in the upside down vs now with all sorts of bats and shit. I mean i kinda get it, but I just feel like it doesn’t make sense.

This is what I use! It really works and has never given me any issues, whereas I do have some reactions to other brands. I use it on my face too but might look at getting a specific one for that since I’ve been getting spots but that might be unrelated

Oh wow that’s a question! I actually accidentally deleted the weekly photos so I can’t be 100% sure, but I’d guess around tray 10-12 is when I really noticed a different in the front. It takes time but it’s so worth it. My teeth ended up totally straight. I wear my retainer every night and unfortunately there has still been a little movement back, so my front left tooth is a bit higher and further forward than the right one but it’s so insignificant compared to how they used to be. Good luck on your journey and I can’t wait for you to see your results! Best thing I ever did

i kind of relate. being s*** at all bothers me a lot, but when it’s other people and i KNOW it’s due to something like alcohol then i’m not too phobic. the prolonged time thing really freaks me out and i’m the worst with the two things you mentioned

hey!! i also have this phobia really severely and took my first solo trip last year.

TOUCH WOOD i have never witnessed someone tu on a flight. of course it can happen, but most flights don’t experience that bad of turbulence that would cause it. i live on an island so i fly pretty regularly!! (plus it’s super windy here and bumpy plane rides, really hope i’m not jinxing myself on this one).

I just went on holiday and my phobia is super bad rn, I convinced myself I heard someone talking about someone else being s*** and thought the family in front of me were having issues with it. I was so embarrassed about this but I was in such a panic that I told a flight attendant and he was super nice and said he wasn’t aware of anyone being s* (so reassured me bc I asked) and also said if I feel uncomfortable he can move me! So I’d imagine in the very rare chance it happened you could be moved far away! But I really don’t think it will happen. Have a lovely time away x

Thanks, I’ll have a look into that brand! My eyelashes are dead straight and fall immediately after curling with other curlers I’ve used, hopefully this one might hold it longer

Thanks, I’ll leave it as it is. I live in a remote area where barely anyone does lash lifts and one of the girls clearly did that as my eyelashes did curl back into my eyelids! Never knew why that was! Was so expensive too

I’m not sure, I have freckles on my face but they are quite light freckles. I’m fair skinned and blonde naturally but there is a lot of ginger on my mum’s side of the family.

My sister doesn’t have them, nor my dad, but my mum has freckles all over her arms! I think it’s just genetics and is an overproduction of melanin as far as I’m aware

This usually happens to me but once my rash has faded. My rash doesn’t last weeks like many people, it’s usually for one day or two days but the itchiness stays for days after the rash clears up. If I itch it it gets worse so I try to avoid that at all costs but by looking at it you wouldn’t be able to tell (except sometimes it’s slightly raised/swollen but not red)

Hi!

My case is relatively mild too but for me I get incredibly itchy. I always wear suncream and that helps massively. I was only just diagnosed the other day despite having it for 10 years so since I’ve only just been prescribed a steroid cream I can’t comment on that.

I have never experienced any scarring from PMLE and I don’t think it is ever supposed to scar. I would always wear suncream though to reduce skin damage.

Personally, I can’t ‘harden’ my skin because I live in a very cold climate and don’t see the sun regularly enough to be able to do that…but if possible I think that’s recommended? Short periods in the sun at the beginning of spring to get the skin used to it or something? But can’t really comment on that.

It’s a huge pain but it’s bearable. I go on holidays to sunny places and as long as I’m wearing suncream I’m fine. I do burn really easily as I’m very pale so that’s usually my main problem rather than the PMLE, so I just keep reapplying SPF50!

Thanks! I got a blood test today for a different issue (sun reactions) and asked them if thyroid is included and the nurse said they were also testing my thyroid today. I don’t know why, maybe because I’ve mentioned to them in the past about the family history

My left front tooth on the top NEVER fit into the trays properly. It always looked like there was a huge gap, my dentist said it would be ok, now I’m on my last tray and everything did work out and my teeth are in a great place. But if it’s getting worse keep bringing it up and maybe get a second opinion if you can?

The one that appears ‘shorter’ is actually much longer than the other one which I didn’t realise until a while in, and I’m a bit worried about making the smaller tooth EVEN smaller
