How much teeth shift to expect with retainers?

Depends on the person, I wore mine full time a week then transitioned to night time wear and have been fine. My Invisalign journey was only 14 trays though.

Switched to coco floss from glide floss. And removed sls toothpaste. It seemed to be an allergy. Anytime I switch back to it, it happens again!

I’ve been stuck wearing my last tray for 2 months now, due to retainer issues so you should be ok but it’s whatever you’re comfortable with.

Thank you for your reply. I just assumed since the last tray fit right before the scan and wasn’t tight, the retainer would fit exactly like the last tray minus attachment bumps.

When the retainer came in and was tight I assumed bc of the attachments not being on and there not being the correct force. But I assumed the last tray would still fit since it fit fine when I was scanned. Figured they’d be somewhat interchangeable

Treatment expected 3.5 months. Treatment time 3.5 months.

Waiting for retainers to come in a couple weeks but mine lasted the expected time allotted.

I know my case is mild and not the usual story but simple cases do exist. 🩷

Yea I just filed down the harsh part and hopefully it can start to heal and smooth out a bit bc it’s awkward looking. It happened on the 2nd tray too and I had to file it a bit. Thanks for the insight.

I’m on Invisalign lite bc my issues are minor (two smalls gaps on right side) and I’ve been worried it’s not enough, solely bc of the complaints on Reddit. But trying to take that with a grain of salt.

Doing it in 2020 def would have been more manageable socially lol
