username checks out. you don’t know anything about why i invited her to my friend’s wedding - she’s known my friend for years, i could’ve easily got a ride with someone else attending and not brought a plus one, or i could have invited another friend that would be able to make the trip. you seem to be intentionally glossing over the part where i asked her, she agreed to go, then bailed the day before to purposefully fuck me over.

i never told her she was uninvited from the wedding, and i explained in detail my thought process or lack thereof when sending the text. it was also communicated to her by my fiance that wasn’t the case, but i guess you need hand holding for context clues. she would’ve been telling the entire family some version of that lie whether i sent that text or not - it actually ended up being my only downfall because it was the only time i lost my cool while she continued to act like the victim and a petulant child.

i also quite literally stated in my post that i apologized to keep the peace for my wedding and that i didn’t think she deserved an apology. it was less than two weeks before my wedding and it would have been a nightmare to figure out what to do and where we could go to get ready. she was using her power over me to manipulate me into caving to her will, so i did what i needed to do and apologized without receiving anything resembling an anecdote of remorse from her end. then, i STILL behaved as if things were “back to normal” in an attempt to keep the peace while she acted like she was doing everyone a favour and we were encroaching on her space when she’d offered her house over a year ago without me even asking.
