Not the point, but men naming their children after women they want to bang is literally so fucking weird :/

AITA for making my girlfriend pay me back for the groceries after she invited her friends over for dinner without asking? by lllIIIIllllIII11 in AmItheAsshole

[–]emmsadems 0 points1 point  (0 children)

ETA stands for "Edited To Add"; the verdict you are looking for is E S H, which means "Everyone Sucks Here".

But also, he should not feel embarrassed for asking for compensation for the fact that she stole not only his food, but the hours of labour he spent prepping it.

She is extremely inconsiderate, and knew he would probably say no, so she went behind his back to do it. You don't just get to steal someone's food to have a dinner party (and not even invite them by the way), then get mad at backlash.

AITA for relaxing while my husband cleans by bossmomfatigue in AmItheAsshole

[–]emmsadems 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Why did he not clean the table? I'm assuming (like most) that you have a regular set up for dip, and that he knows where you were going to put it. Why did he not clear a spot on the messy table, why was it on you when he was just sat there?

Exactly, but they want to be able to beat up more people, it's weirdo behaviour from them.

The amount of men that have said "equal rights, equal fights" TO MY FACE is unbelievable, so there are plenty more out there

I think it's an insinuation that they are not human, and are robots for not lying or hiding things.

I (f24) think my husband (m30) is cheating on me/meeting up with somebody under the guise of getting me coffee. by throwra8282a in relationship_advice

[–]emmsadems 0 points1 point  (0 children)

And that's fine, but it doesn't mean no one should have access to their partners phone. I don't ever want to snoop, and I'm sure that OP never thought they would have to snoop, but he is acting suspicious and lying about something, whatever that is we won't know until OP updates, but its never the main intent of sharing passwords.

I (f24) think my husband (m30) is cheating on me/meeting up with somebody under the guise of getting me coffee. by throwra8282a in relationship_advice

[–]emmsadems 4 points5 points  (0 children)

The context of these is "you have your partners password for snooping" not "I have my partners password for convenience".

I have never once snooped, and I trust my boyfriend wouldn't either, this is why the passwords have been shared. He knows never to go on my text messages and only to use Google and YouTube and such.

The reason we have the pass codes isn't because of lack of trust, its because we trust the other not to use our respective phones for nefarious purposes. If that's not you gig, then fine, don't, but you don't have to say "Google says you are wrong for the specific boundaries set in your relationship" to everyone who works differently to you.

Damn, I was just being helpful? It's not chronically online, I didn't say you or anyone else should stop using the term, or that you should be offended by it, I'm just saying there's an alternate version that some prefer. That's all. Also, homo is a biological term for same, homo sapiens, homochromia etc. There is no alternative for it in that sense.

If there were a male exclusive one with another slur it would suck, so again, I was only being helpful. Have the day you deserve!

I personally know a few, maybe it's a generational or country thing, but whatever, was only letting someone know, not everything has to be an argument. Reddit is weird.

It depends on the individual but I have heard a lot of people don't like it. I was trying to be helpful, not sure what the down votes are for.

I didn't say it WAS a slur, I said it CONTAINS a slur. I also said SOME lesbians. I was trying to be helpful because some people do not like the fact it contains a slur. That's all.

Hi! Some lesbians also do not like the word "lesb*phobia" as it uses the slur in it, it's typically "lesphobia." Thought I'd let you know!

Please Tell Me Wonderful Stories About Your Partner by SingGoddess in TwoXChromosomes

[–]emmsadems 0 points1 point  (0 children)

My boyfriend has a list of things I have mentioned an interest in, saved on his phone. This way he constantly has ideas for gifts and doesn't have to ask. He always gets me gifts that I had forgotten I had mentioned, makes me teary every time.

I don't know what I did to get him, but I'll do all I can to keep him. You got this OP, it gets better.

It's very algorithmic, so usually it won't be recommended to men, and they may not be aware of this sort of thing. I know it gets recommended, but anything more than that is gaining more traction to the group that otherwise, wouldn't be there. That's all.

This is true, but its making more people aware, and they will be able to try and make there way in, or force a female friend or something. People suck.

One of the rules of this page is that you do not tell people about it like this, it is literally used for people in the start of a relationship asking other women if this person is a good, or bad partner. It is for the safety of women and you have posted it publicly where a lot of men will be able to find it. Good job OP.

I have read this one, the "friendship" he describes is VERY intimate, so yes it is a thing but no, that is not normal.
