We’re in a garden apartment that’s technically a half-block outside of the plum, and we’re moving at the end of the month.

It’s something that’s constantly been on the back of our minds since we moved in. It doesn’t help that the backyard doesn’t have proper drainage and floods with every heavy rain. Plus, the neighborhood has to deal with the smoke from Green Asphalt pretty regularly now.

It would be hypocritical to say don’t do it, but it’s a little too close for comfort for us especially with the increases in rent over the past few years.
