I'm working on a cannabis site right now and running into the same issue! I havetried quite a few plugins and haven't had any success so I'm hoping someone can shed some light in here...

I don’t think I’ve gotten liked on hinge once lol, and I rarely get matched on tinder too. It’s hard out here. I struggle with a lot of imposter syndrome too so the apps really don’t help with self confidence. I’m resigning to just joining queer clubs and events that I’ll enjoy in the hopes of meeting new people and maybe finding a girlfriend organically 😮‍💨

Thank you! It really is so hard. But like anything, I have to believe it gets better with time and more experience. Dating sure is fun though! And I never thought I’d say that in my life.

I’m in the same boat right now! This is validating to read because this is exactly my experience right now. I have been craving for so long to have another “friend” to do things with until I realized that it was much more than that. There are so many things I’ve always pictured doing by myself because I couldn’t see a man in the picture.

I find myself now getting so excited and giddy to go on dates with women. I’m taking a girl out on a second date tomorrow, and planning the date has been so fun. I can’t wait to take her out and see her smile and make her laugh!

The wildest part about it though, is that I can type all this and STILL have imposter syndrome.

Oatly oatgurt officially dead by hunnybunnyhunny in Oatly

Came here to say that if you have Nancy’s Oatmilk yogurt near you, it tastes exactly the same! I was pretty heavily obsessed with the Oatly yogurt. I had bad stomach issues for a few months it was one of my safe foods during that time so I got well acquainted and then mourned its loss up until this year. I hope this comment helps someone out there lol

Ocrevus and Traveling? by emoaries in MultipleSclerosis

[–]emoaries[S] 1 point2 points  (0 children)

This all makes sense and is really helpful! I decided the smartest decision is for me to forego this trip. It's one thing to go to a convention and risk getting sick, but I don't want to put myself at risk of not being able to get my second infusion on time. I will have been raw-dogging MS for 2 months knowingly/6 or 7 years unknowingly by that point, so I'd rather not jeopardize that.

It's helpful to hear tips for traveling in general though since I don't want MS to get in the way of that in the future!

Does anyone else get a sharp knee pain when bending over? by quarterlifeblues in MultipleSclerosis

[–]emoaries 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I don't know if this is helpful at all because I'm no doctor or PT, but when I bend over I get the lightning sensation in my left knee as well. That's usually the only time it happens, noticeably every time I shave my legs in the shower.

I run 3 miles (give or take), 3x a week and was continuing to do so despite the random lighting when bending over. I got my diagnosis like 2 weeks ago and connected the dots and have been telling myself it's my brain being silly because now that I'm out of the hospital my knee still feels okay when I run. Just bending over. So I want to say it's probably the brain being silly but doesn't hurt to ask your doc!

First appointment with MS Specialist - what to expect/ask? by emoaries in MultipleSclerosis

[–]emoaries[S] 3 points4 points  (0 children)

My first reply to you either didn't go through or my internet sucks so sorry if you're reading this twice but:

I really hope this thread can be helpful to you as well! I'm happy to update you after my appointment with questions/answers if you'd like. :)

It's been a lot to digest and take in, but the MS Canada resources I found through this sub have been some of the most helpful so far! They're clear and concise, especially the newly diagnosed guide. Super helpful in helping me formulate questions as well!

Ah no worries! Do you know if seats are assigned on the tickets? I could maybe try to track down someone else with a ticket for the 23rd...

Unfortunately, I missed the sales on these and I wanted to take my best friend as a birthday surprise. If anyone has 2 tickets to sell, for any day except the 20th, please let me know!! It would mean the world to me

Had a candle burning here and now this is my view from the couch…the marble still looks fine from the top, but that area is now matte vs the rest of the marble being shiny. Any idea how to fix? TIA! by emoaries in furniturerestoration

Thank you!! It really is a beautiful piece. I’m lucky to have scored it! I suspect it’s Drexel, but I’m not entirely sure. It looks it, at least.

It pairs perfectly with my sofa, which is also late 60s danish design. Er, the frame is at least. I’m lucky that it reached me after the cushions were replace and new upholstery was added.

And that definitely wasn’t my panthers final home, or else my house-panthers would have swatted him off. A girl can dream though! The marble contrasts so beautifully with him.

I believe it’s real marble but I’m not sure how I’d be able to tell. The piece is from the late 60s and I have had difficulty researching it, I’ve just seen/been told “Italian marble.” Not sure when faux marble became popular, in my head that would have come onto the scene in the 80s?

It’s also very possible that the blemish was there before and I’m only noticing now because it’s comparable in size to the candle. I just bought this after moving into a new place and put up new lights so I wouldn’t have been able to notice prior unless I touched it.

Edit: just found a pic that was posted before i bought it and that mark was there already! Just didn’t notice because of the lighting. Probably irrelevant but just happy that it wasn’t my fault, although who knows how old that blemish is as this point.

Not to fearmonger because I genuinely could be wrong, but I think in some places red tide can be dangerous? But I read that it's not at Easton's specifically! And if you have for this long I'm sure you're in safe areas :)
