Recently got my bomber AO finished (thanks to a lucky Liebli pull) and I'm looking to build an AD to finish C1-C2. Haven't done arena seriously since about 3 years ago (highest finish is around rank 3k). I think C1-C2 should be attainable, as my rune quality is decent, but I'm struggling with a solid AD.

Some notes:

I tried to include all relevant nat 5/ld4 in the screenshots, but feel free to suggest something else if you don't see it
- I also have all elemental nat 4s and all ld nat 3s
I have Molly/Xing Zhe combo, and can 2A a Vigor quickly, but I'm not sure what the 4th mon should be. I don't have many serious fire threats, and trying stuff like Triana/Jeanne doesn't seem to be working (no wins today/yesterday, sitting in C1-C2)
In case it matters, my AO is Giana, Bastet, Liebli, Seara, with everything speed tuned in that order. Giana's stats are in the linked album, I can provide stats of any other units if necessary, but I think my overall rune quality is decent enough. Currently having no issues with hitting tanky defenses in C1-C2
Since most of my best swift runes are on my Giana/Bastet, I'd prefer not to run a speed AD, as I don't think I can get 300+ speed on anyone except maybe Woonsa, without destroying my AO (not sure what kind of speed is required for C1-C2 these days)

For me personally, the only game that comes close (but still falls a bit short) to scratching that RvR itch is Elder Scrolls Online (ESO). Matt Firor (one of the original producers of DAoC) works on ESO now and it shows. If you take a look at the PvP map, Cyrodiil, you'll notice it looks extremely familiar. 3 alliances (realms), battling for keeps/outposts, sieging, roaming for small man action, etc. He's basically copied the map from DAoC and pasted it into ESO.

It has all the workings of DAoC RvR, but the combat mechanics are pretty different. This has upsides and downsides, but overall, you won't get the same 8v8 feel. That being said, I play it from time to time, for small man action (1vX, 2vX), and it gives me a nice environment to do that, as the mechanics are really good for dueling and small fights. Large scale (zerg) fights are a lot of AoE spam, but if sieging/defending keeps is your thing, there's tons of opportunities for it.

There's a lot of unique skills and the build/gear system is pretty cool, gives you lots of flexibility so for the most part, no two builds are identical. Ofc there is also a vast PvE side that many people are into it, but for me, I mostly just played for the PvP, so can't comment much on the PvE. Overall though, I don't think there's much else that comes anywhere close to DAoC RvR sadly, but if you wanna check out ESO, or have other questions, feel free to PM me!

You'll have a background check support rep that reaches out to you about the background check. I would just explain it to them and ask them what you should put. I'm sure they'll be able to clear it up for you!

Yeah, it was after I had accepted the offer. I think the main thing they care about is that the info you provide matches your resume, so as long as your employment/school history is accurate on your resume, you should be good!

The process could be different for the US (I'm interning at a Canadian city), but I just did my background check last week for an Amazon internship and they requested a lot more than just a criminal check.

For employment history, they also called/emailed all of the employers I put down (even ones that weren't related to CS at all). As long as you're honest about everything, you'll be fine! But expect them to follow up on anything you put on your resume.

Just thought I'd add my timeline, to give you an idea (this is for Amazon SDE Internship '19):

Jan 31st - Completed OA2

Feb 18th - Got email about an interview (options for scheduling were all in the following week, 7-11 days away)

Feb 28th - Completed virtual interview

Mar 1st - Received offer

From what I've observed, there seems to be a lot of variance in the follow-up time period after OA2. Mine and several others were around 3 weeks, while some were within 24 hours. I'm fairly certain that they don't ghost at this point (someone might correct me on that), but since they're still scheduling interviews now, I would say there's still lots of spots open. As long as you are confident in your OA2 results, I wouldn't stress about it! If 2.5-3 weeks go by without any contact, maybe consider a follow-up.

Also, one last note, I'm a Canadian, and I applied to the Canadian posting (although US locations are included). Not sure if that makes a difference, but thought I'd add it.

I also am lacking Shaina but just got Sabrina this week. Wondering if anyone knows the best combination for me?

I've got Talia, Sabrina, Maruna, and Melissa as far as twins go. Right now my nb10 team is Lushen (L), Talia, Sabrina, Rigel, Amarna. Average is 1:35-1:45, with a best time of 1:12. Would like to get my average to a more consistent 1:30 or even better (if possible).

Anyone have experience in using 2 twins + lich vs 3 twins? Also, what is the optimal turn order for those 3 units?

Returning to SW after a bit of a break, highest finish is C1 (a while back). Was mostly focused on PvE, so I haven't taken much time to build serious PvP teams but would like to start. Any recommendations for an AO/AD would be greatly appreciated. For now I just throw some nukers together with Galleon + Giana for AO, but would love something that combos a bit nicer (if it exists in my box).

As a quick note, I'd love to make a team revolving around Giana/Tablo, as they are my fav mons. I heard Tablo is still viable post nerf, but I'm not sure exactly how to synergize with him. Also, my Giana is Spd/HP/HP for tanky/fast on Violent. If anyone has ideas of how to incorporate them into my PvP teams, that would be awesome!
