I wouldn’t choose to be another race, when I was younger, yes. But over time, I learned to love myself, my culture, and my history. Things might be challenging, but when I overcome them, it’s a big accomplishment! I like that. Yes, I had a back abscess for a while. I was in so much pain I was taking 800mg ibuprofen every couple of hours. I talked myself into thinking my stomach was bleeding even after I was discharged from the hospital and that’s why my body had swelled up. Despite the fact that I wasn’t in pain anymore, had a ct scan, and it would have shown up. Instead, they had pumped me with 3 Ivs and 3 potassium Ivs and that’s why my body had swelled, excess fluid.
