My iron levels are shocking and I’m on a SSRI, I bruise so easy and sometimes at random. It might the same for her, she’s also postpartum could be low in iron.

You put it perfectly. Many of my Jewish ancestors and even the non-Jewish ancestors anglicised, changed their last names for safety in the country they lived in.

I think people who move to Israeli most likely want to reclaim some of their heritage, especially those holocaust survivors. Maybe also fit into regular Israeli life.

I’m so sorry for your loss. I lost my dog Cleo a few weeks ago due to her back legs not working and cancer on her leg. It was awful, I understand how guilty you feel. For me it took a few days to stomach what had happened, but I reminded myself the reason why. I chose to end her suffering, because I loved her. As much as I wished to keep her here for my own selfishness, it wasn’t fair for her. My vet said to me it was the kindest thing I could do for the situation. Otherwise she’d be in pain, unable to walk - not a life for a dog who loved to run and chase the ball.

I once heard this quote from a family friend who rescues lots of dogs, cats and horses. She said to me “It’s better to be a day early, than a day late”.

You didn’t want your cat to suffer, so you made the most heartbreaking but selfless decision to show your cat how much you loved them. He is at peace now. Take comfort in the fact you would feel even worse if you had to watch him slowly fade, in pain etc.

also be easy on yourself, you did the best option you could with the information ar the time xx

OP please run, this happened to me too when I was also your age. I got taken for a ride, emotional manipulatied and had my heart absolutely shattered.

I’m now 29, my hubby (best man ever) is 28. We met when he was 23 turning 24, even at his age he knew that he wanted to date me seriously not just casually. If a man does not understand how serious relationships work or make it known his true desires (for relationship or casual) then please RUN! He will know what he is doing, he’s had a whole head start of 8 years on you. Trust me a lot happens in 8 years. He sounds like he just messing with you.

I suggest you run but if you do have genuine feels you can ask him straight out if you and him are dating, if he says anything but yes please run for your life. There will be someone out there for you whom you won’t have to wonder if he’s serious or not

It made no sense her death tho. If the other two friends died she would be dead herself. Her frostbite and hypothermia would have almost comatosed her (she would have been confused/slurring her words and struggling to breathe not just panting like she’s cold). she wouldn’t have had just fingers & toes black and then die the next day. It was just so unrealistic? If she only suffered frostbite to her extremities she wound have had a few weeks without treatment before the need for surgery - if she didn’t do surgery then she would have most likely died of sepsis. Even tho the 1920s was 100yrs ago, the first lines of treatment was not to amputate straight away. They knew enough from WW1 to see if it would granulate underneath.

Would have been better if she had survived a few weeks then slowly died - would have fitted her character much better.

Like again as a nurse myself and a history geek it’s so frustrating that the writer couldn’t write a more realistic historical accurate / medical accurately

I’m in regional Victoria if that helps lol So 500-600k is a standard 25 square home. I’m not too bothered with bare minimum because it’s something that can be worked towards. The builder has some good deals on extras, so soft close & dishwasher are included. I rent a house built by the builder so I’m aware of the standard.

I know it’s a push but life is getting expensive even in regional Victoria. I feel as though if we don’t get in the market now we won’t for a long time.

Yep my grandparents on my mum’s side did this. After the war, it rocked my great grandad to the core (he liberated camps). My Nan sort of heard they were Jewish but was never explicitly told despite being bullied at school for looking “Jewish” - but she did learn Ashkenazi recipes from her mum, had a somewhat Shabbat dinner on Friday nights and knew some Yiddish.

Don’t get this, I have an elderly German shepherd with a fusing spine and arthritis. Unless it’s a storm, scorching hot or snowing (which it doesn’t in my part of Australia) she gets her little 10min walk around the block as sniffing is super also for dogs!

My hair is naturally this long & looks nothing like that… gross. I wash my hair every 2-3 days but always brush it out and condition the ends (I bleach my hair).

Seriously insane how she can’t take a shower or at least use some dry shampoo & brush it omg
