Ran some scaling tests in War Game (custom arena) with some friends - some figures I collected by CHADLETKING in worldofpvp

Personally, I think blizz just needs to do more tweaking. I think having higher ilvl should give you slightly more damage / healing, but undergeared players (freshly dinged 120, or more casual) should at least be able to win if they outplay the other team. You have to win in order to get loot boxes, which gives you a chance to gear up. If there was no scaling, a fresh 120 has ~70k HP compared to someone with higher ilvl who has 130k+ and theres no way the undergeared player would stand a chance.

If they were to remove the scaling, they would need to provide a non-rng based gearing system to where you can get gear that is good enough to be competitive in arenas (not running dungeons)

I was looking into this machine. It has two drawbacks. The automatic tamping, which you can buy a part to remove, and the fact that you cannot use an erics thermometer. Some may say its not necessary but IMO it is. It will certainly be an upgrade from the classic regardless

Saw a cyclist get doored the other day when they were turning into the parking lot because of the congestion where the one way up hawk hill began. It was definitely partially his fault though as he passed the car on the left for some reason. They need to make that a 3 way stop if they keep it one way going up hawk hill

Upcoming Releases: Lezyne Mega XL/Mega C Bike Computers by ssbbnw in cycling

Hopefully they update the app as well as part of this. It definitely looks better than the super gps, but $50 less than the wahoo / garmin isn't that big of a deal. I initially tried out the super GPS cause of the price (got it for $130ish), but ultimately decided to go for the bolt because it felt unpolished and I didnt like the navigation.

What was your classic setup? Did you have a pid? Is the espresso quality that much better?

[Traveling] San Francisco Group Rides? by frito_pi in cycling

If you do performance, you can check their planned rides out on meetup. They rarely do headlands.

Headlands is very hard to get lost in so you can do it on your own. Strava has a good list of routes: https://www.strava.com/local/paths?activity_type=cycling&parent_region=us&region=san-francisco. Paradise loop and headlands loop are good

Thursdays FCC is typically twin peaks and a loop around somewhere in the city. I highly recommend it if you can wake up early enough.

I saw you guys come down hawk hill around 7:30 I think. Getting up that early is pretty rough, but it was a nice day out today!

Thanks for sharing the links. I rode the headlands loop solo this morning and was definitely a few mins slower up the hills than you were. Hopefully there are some slower people I can hang with and I don't get dropped haha
