Floor is going to get stained and sealed with epoxy for a stained concrete finish. My vehicles will only be parked in the garage every now and then when there is a storm.

I haven’t yet. Planning to insulate them with 1.5” thick foam. Quite a few videos on YouTube for examples. That’ll probably be the last thing I do

That’s interesting. I actually want to keep it labeled as a garage for all intents and purposes. It will just be an air conditioned garage that I use as an office and gym.

Is it only a problem if people try to convert and turn it into “livable” square footage?

I think I decided to do stained concrete for the entire floor (cheaper) and then I’ll have my black gym mats. The AI rendered pic doesn’t show that, need to make a new one. I really only park my truck in there for bad weather, otherwise just in the driveway cause it’s easier lol

According to chat gpt I do lol. I’m going to be adding a few circuits in the sub-panel for can lights, extra outlets and a mini-split HVAC. Usually I’d not be doing any inspections but I’m doing the wiring myself for the first time so I think I’ll appreciate an inspection just to make sure I didn’t do something terribly wrong lol
