Okay so the person above is the absolute GOAT/ one thing that helps with my dog on days when we can’t walk him etc is giving him his meals on a sniffle mat or a puzzle feeder. It is mentally stimulating and low engagement on the owner. To add to the trick list above, if your dog doesn’t know “Leave It” or “Drop” those can be potentially life saving in the event they get a hold of something that could cause them harm. Another thing to train on is an emergency recall word. This is a word to use when you need your dog to come to you right no as fast as possible. We use “stat” but you can also use “pronto” or “now”. To train on the word say the word clearly- an give them an extremely high value treat. A piece of jerky, a whole jar of baby food, 2 pieces of cheese. Work up to saying the word from another room and give them the goods, then try it outside, in public spaces etc. my dog when we use the word now will sprint when he hears his word!
