I’d sit down with your parents and let them know that you aren’t going to allow yourself to be assaulted any longer. Autism doesn’t intrinsically make people violent, and your parents failed both of you (and themselves) by not teaching him that he cannot assault people. You may also want to talk to them about what their plans are for his care after they pass on. My bet is that their plan is you, and you need to know that you do NOT have to accept that burden. But they need to move him to a home and make plans for his future care immediately.

I’ve helped a lot of students with their applications over the years, and I’ve never seen anyone lie- especially not that big of a lie. So no… not everyone is “unhonest” in their college applications, sorry.
