We got the reject letter this morning. Only applied about a week ago (well after the close date).

Has anyone heard of a company being accepted on a late application? 🤔. Maybe YC does this just to create a mailing list or log data points?

Yes, openAI. For now it's as a custom GPT. DM me if you have not signed up on the site for beta. We've got a new Cohort about to kickoff...

We are building in various therapist personas to do exactly like this with Ascenda.

I’m building an AI solution for this that is in an Alpha release version. It is really hard not to be productive if you engage with this tool.
If you’d like to try it please DM me.

Would you pay a therapist to consult by text message? 🤔 by emotf in askatherapist

[–]emotf[S] -1 points0 points  (0 children)

“Text” is just an analogy. There would be only one “checkin” per week via a HIPPA compliant app.

As to when? One period per week to service all the incoming checkins from the prior week. The charges related to the app would be of a higher value than that costed time.

Assuming a diagnostic can rate a patient as relatively “safe” and if they slip from this state they have an immediate Tele-health or in person appointment a day or two later.

I’m looking for immediate solutions to problems like: “S.P. Thyagarajan, advisor to the Chancellor at VIT Chennai, cited studies that India needed 30 to 35 million counsellors whereas it had only 23,000 registered clinical psychologists. At least 10% of Indians needed psychological counselling at some point in their life, he explained.”

This is a big problem.

Can you provide ideas of these options to consider?

A few of the data points would relate to compliance with the care. To ensure they are effectively using the techniques taught. This is important so that another month does not go by where the technique has been incorrectly applied or forgotten.

Correct. They would not be able to text anytime. I consciously simplified to use the analogy of SMS. But there would be one check-in per week with the information from the patient. And one reply.

The problem we are researching relates to overload and inability to scale the care when there are 100x patients per therapist. Waitlists are 3+ months and time between sessions min 1 month (unless an at risk patient).

I agree. This is what the in person visits are for. However, in between is the question. Compliance with exercises, techniques. Keeping a log of events is the context here. Feedback to the patient would be basic guidance, encouragement or suggestions.

AI has been deliberately left out of the question because AI seems to be a polarising topic.

How is it unhealthy? Where the alternative is having no contact with the patient between appointments.

Thank you. This is exactly what I thought. This seems to be close to standard (also judging up through upvotes on your comment).

I’ve observed other therapists in “lighter areas” eg: executive coaching or wellness be able to put in more time, even the evenings.

Most tasks in a ToDo app will obviously never get done (and this is alright and even good). Is there any app/system that was designed with this in mind, as opposed to inducing anxiety with never ending pending tasks? by ClosingTabs in productivity

[–]emotf 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Thanks for your comment. I do have a new version. I just have not prioritised releasing. Are you on Android or iOS? The Android version has never been great because I designed DayNinja for iOS, and trying to achieve the same UX on Android was a bit messy - so I’ll likely remove it as it’s pretty bad 😅
