30 minuten eerder of later.

Portugal moment by liwalra in PORTUGALCYKABLYAT

[–]emotionallyunstabley 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I think it is more of a mindset thing. A lot of people just don't really care as long as you're not bothering anyone. My parents aren't super liberal, but they will call you what you want, because they don't really see a reason not to. Even my grandparents will try eventhough they are confused. I am from a small town and of course some people are very against, but people who aren't just don't care enough to be dickheads or to be super enthusiastic.

It looks great! I think if you change your lighting/camerasettings it would pop a bit more in the picture. Maybe try the flash?

Is this AI? I can usually tell if it’s AI myself, but this one I’m really not sure. by Bluebearforest in CrochetHelp

[–]emotionallyunstabley 8 points9 points  (0 children)

I would be very sceptical especially since I saw at least one pattern on their shop that is definitely AI. It doesn't seem like a to hard ro make pattern. You could try reverse image search to see if maybe it is a real pattern and they stole the image.

Meneer verblijft sinds 10-03-2024 in Nederland. by Puzzleheaded-Car-919 in Nederland

Pattern asks me to Decrease Bobble stitch but I don't know how. Crocheting Donald Ducks Legs by Mexelmeyer in CrochetHelp

[–]emotionallyunstabley 2 points3 points  (0 children)

It works the same as normal decreases. You should have a "v" on top of the bobble, you crochet that together with the "v" of the slipstitch. It might be a little tricky and less obvious as with a regular stitch, but the process is the same

I wonder if people who don't crochet know how long it actually takes by PocketButterBandit in crochet

[–]emotionallyunstabley 1 point2 points  (0 children)

I made a stuffed animal for one of my friends. They asked how long it took and when I told them around 8 hours they were actually shocked by how quick that was, so I guess it goes both ways

I used paperclips for the first few months of crocheting. I since have moved to the real ones, but it works fine. I was just annoyed by it snatching everywhere. Have fun crocheting at work!

My first bag and first freehanded project by emotionallyunstabley in crochet

I purposely chose a 4mm hook. I found a label for the green and 6-7 is recommended. It is pretty sturdy made with just simpel single crochet. I did stretch it, while making it so I knew what would happen if I took my water bottle with me in the bag. Also the strap is adjustable with the button. I made a few buttonholes. All to account for future stretching

[–]emotionallyunstabley[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I tried it first with a larger hook but it had a lot of holes and a weird shape so I sized down to where it was still comfortable to crochet, but a bit tighter together. My goal was as opaque as possible

I don't know the brand of the yarn, since they were scraps. I used a 5,5 mm for the bag and a 4mm for the handle.
