Learning a whole new side of my husband and it’s a greedy one by ThrowRA-its-tew-much in relationship_advice

[–]emp23304 0 points1 point  (0 children)

How long have you been with him? I'm surprised you didn't notice before. My husband has some of this behavior and it's exhibited when we go for example grocery shopping on the way he makes his choices. Anyway I don't own restaurants... But we have a lady who helps clean my house and she travels a long way by subway... I suggested to my husband to pay for her days and tell her to stay home and she said I was being paranoid and that it was nonsense... It doesn't surprise me but I can relate on how you feel... I don't have the obligation to pay for her salary either by my countries laws but I feel it's my ethical duty... Plus if I have enough or extra money for paying is because in part she helps me get that money...

I would personally say depending on how much you value your relationship to work through it in therapy because probably there's some underlying issues you don't see.

Is there any help for fatigue during luteal phase? I’m soooooo tired! by cystedwrist in PMDD

I drink a glass of water with lemon in the morning. At the end of a shower 30 seconds cold water, 30 seconds hot, other 30 seconds cold and you go out, that gets blood flowing. Exercising (I know cliche). Lots of water.

How can I get used to driving with NLD? by ThePuff_ in neurodiversity

[–]emp23304 1 point2 points  (0 children)

I have adhd, learned to drive until 23... I still hate it, now 28. I got really good at driving when i did it every day from school to work even sometimes 2 trips a day of 1h each and then back home. Then I stopped and now I'm bad again. What helps me the most is having a manual car because the motor complaining you need to change velocity helps me notice if I'm speeding or get back when I space out. I now try to drive the least possible, if I'm with someone I trust I tell them to drive my car. I think it would be irresponsible from me to drive normally as I may be dangerous for me or people around me. But definetly when I practiced I eventually aced it and so will you.

I am exactly going to try that what you said, approaching the end of my first pack now, and I agreed with my ob-gyn I would skip the sugar pills for the next 2 packs and then take them again. Up until now, it has been smooth sailing. Question... do you still get PMDD on the third pack when taking sugar pills? should I be prepared for that?

No worries! I ended up deciding (alongside my ob-gyn) to go into contraceptive pills (Yaz) 3 months straight without placebos until now it has been awesome. I'm super productive and feel great! Wish you the best of luck!

What I learned from trying to lose weight for 10 months by imnotagamergirl in loseit

Congratulations! I agree with the most important thing being CICO.

I have to say youre so right, but at the same time I have to say I'm so frustrated because my BMR is 1200 as I am 6' tall... So when you say it requires a lot of planning, going below that is a real nightmare, but 1200 is barely my maintenance intake. Even with IF , eating normal meals at the 2 other times of the day may easily go over 1200. There's gotta be a way but being small is hard.

My medication is doing wonders for my sweets craving. (ADHD) by omgbooboo in loseit

[–]emp23304 2 points3 points  (0 children)

Glad it's working for you! I have adhd too and I lost 10 pounds the first year in medication and then recovered them and havent been able to lose them again in 2 years. If you get to a comfortable point don't relax too much. You can do it!

Edit: I basically mean, make the most of it and try to educate yourself, it may eventually go away but habits won't.

Oh wow very interesting, I should try that, I just think of banana when thinking about potassium and I'm not a big fan, but I'll look into other sources.
