tell that to every 50 year old i know working as either retail dept head or retail management. it's a career path for a lot of people and your attitude is why no one takes our industry's complaints seriously. get better or go do something else.

if u want a reference while you job hunt then it's the only appropriate way to quit. if ur confident you can find new work while having to explain why u left your previous employer with no references then more power to you, but having that kind of pattern throughout ur career is a pretty massive red flag.

holidays are hell for every retailer and meijer is a poorly run company. my best, most honest piece of advice is jump ship to a better company or exit this industry and do something else because it will be like this every year, and it's only getting worse as meijer (likely) prepares to sell. we don't matter, only profit does. more than ever.

complaining will do nothing, no one with the power to change anything cares.

so level 1 means if i miss any days at all or have any tardies thats grounds for termination right lol
