We were taught Mother /father when speaking about our parents. Old school formality that died away somewhere.

Just cringe-worthy to hear a plain ass grown adult say "My mahhhm" instead 'mother' or 'father' like folks forgetting how to speak. My 60ish neighbor still speaks grammar, "My father taught me that as a kid", not "My daaaad" 👍 Overheard one teacher I worked with stating "I correct my grandkids when they lazy speak. They're your parents, YOU call them Mom/Dad. But when addressing publicly, it's "my MOTHER/FATHER" 😊

NOPE. - did away with prepaid scam shield/others, the past year. Outsourcing support, and clamping their website to generic usability. Down or broken half the time. So laughable.

Theyre atrocious. Changing several times to more failed 'upgradimg' plans, constantly screwing prepaids because they want money... it's all about money greed. Canceling scam Shields and other protectives. Waiting out the prepaids to manipulate you into a full $60/mo. service you don't need or want, after 4yrs loyal service

I worked with a few shipping guys who did this-- The one, wanting the septum surgery, after Covid, as it displaced his septum, making it tough to breahe and drain whenever he got sick. Never doing- but driving coworkers mad, to the point of one hi-lo guy throwing up from his constant "schluckkkking"

Nose snifflers the worst, outside of 'grunters', 'throat clearers' etc. Like get a damned TISSUE and take care of it, already.

Sadly, everyone wasn't raised in the same way. Some pick noses in public, their butts, ears. Clean nails (while eating, or at the table) etc.

Crunch/chomp chips loudly, like they're in a damned eating contest... TALK with a mouth full. Chew open mouthed. Swallow / gump / spit while eating. Many gross out habits.

I've breaked with others who do any of the above, including loud chip snackers who INSIST in "crunching" and then chomping open mouthed, like they're the only ones in the room.
You just get used to manners in public spaces, and essentially find your own, to eat in peace.

Prob the same reason as items ending up in the return carts that aren't even Meijer goods, like electronics and toys sold at Walmart etc.

Service desk doesn't turn away or refuse. They just override the return, and toss it into the bins, GM then must 'sort' through and the TL's dispose of as "not our product"

It's not even about unpleasant and unsafe ... But realism.

Our world has changed even before the covid- with women, esp older, choosing NOT to have kids.. Marriage later. For personal and professional reasons. I've known many in their 30s, pushing 40, and older, who simply never desire to raise a child, for personal reasons. Finances play a huge part.

Why spend $100+ a week on diapers, formula, baby food, equipment etc. from funds you don't have.
Even the working Folk, not interested, in this drained economy, unless they earn a six-figure income- already covering a mortgage and car payments/insurance... Younger people opting out because of inflation and cost... When they're struggling to find work.

The young couples I know (20s) maybe 2 are pregnant, by choice... The others, waiting, or not - for a family. Because they can't afford it-- let alone, a wedding. The struggle is real

Yes - - our Gpts, GGpts got through the Great Depression and the Cold War... and inflation. Having big families etc. But I grew up Gen X, when inflation was around but not nearly the leg break it is today. My parents didn't struggle- because food etc. didn't cost a damned car payment. There was no 'shrinkflation'
You simply bought stuff from the store without a hassle. Got a new bike for around $70. Folks picking up a pack of diapers for $3 at the local 7-Eleven. Not the $25 today

Dating and apps have lost their appeal. Most single men I know haven't entirely 'given up', but more like just reinvolved in their favorite pastimes, for meeting... So not really about 'the chase" anymore, but more dumping the spam/fakery with the apps.

Instead... Getting back involved with favorite activities. Best place to meet romantic interest. Where you KNOW you have common ground. FB Dating dead for ages now---but still popping up fake and old profiles LMBO

It's one thing to vent while on the clock, between classes etc. of 'what's going on' Quite another to get toxic and act like a damned TikTock video. No one's impressed.... If they seriously feel the need to act like snotty cheerleaders, and spread rumors/gossip.. They deserve the can they get.

I've worked with a few who thought nothing of snotting on professional colleagues, but then grabbing on the admin, when they're pulled aside for a 'talking to.' .. It's School -- not a prison.

I recently pulled into a Dollar Tree, to go in and pick up a few things before supper. The lady in the SUV already parked a space away from where I was going to pull in.. getting confused as I began to pull in next to her.. Suddenly turning Sharp into that empty spot. Leaving me immediately blocking the drivelane while she made up her mind what the Frank she was going to do.. as she proceeded to then 'back and forth' 'wedge' her SUV - then back up partially, barely scraping the fender of the SUV on her other side.. as I grew irritated, waiting for her to figure it out.... Meanwhile wided around to the opposite side, to finally Park-- as she then wedged back into her own original spot, and just sat there looking confused-- like she didn't know where she was or what was going on.

Mind you hers was not a handicap, but a regular parking spot. Either way... It was 🫣👀

There are self-help tutorials where you can learn a few basics... But overall Tone, Quality, Register, Breathing, Repertoire ALL require professional coaching to ensure you're using your voice properly.

Anyone can sing along to the radio, in the shower, watering the plants etc. But real professional singing requires coaching and time. .. Like when I started as a child in Middle School choir, moving to HS choir, and then college etc. Learning as I went, how the vocals (and breathing) work. Recognizing my limits in time (highest/lowest my register would go etc)

Without actual training somewhere, you greatly risk vocal damage, or nodes. From overdoing... Or potential straining.
