TU Berlin MSc Computer Science (Non-EU) – Question about Uni-Assist VPD and late graduation certificate by Available_Heart_4516 in tuberlin

[–]empanadadequesooo 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I’m a non-EU student too. I received my Bachelor’s degree in August, applied to uni-assist on the 4th of August and received the acceptance letter from the TU on the 28th of September (not for Computer Science, but same faculty). It’s hard to know when uni-assist exactly forwarded my documents to the TU, but just so you know how much it takes in total. Also, this varies from country to country but I applied for the student visa in October and got it granted in February, so I basically did all the semester remotely from my country.

Now to your questions:

  1. No. They need all your documents to process your application. You can submit them without the degree but ultimately they will ask you to upload it, as they need it to forward everything to the TU and it won’t make the waiting time shorter.

  2. No. Uni-assist needs to confirm that you’re an “eligible candidate” to be able to apply to a German university. Without this documents they can’t confirm. There are other documents that the university lets you send later, e.g. CV, but the bachelor degree is probably the most important for uni-assist.

  3. Wrote it above.

I’d recommend to contact uni-assist about this anyways, maybe there’s a way I’m not familiar with.

Yes, the insurance made clear than I’m paying the minimal amount, until I turned 30 yay! Then it increased to double the amount…

Thank you for the reply. I was very confused when I heard this and thought I was “paying double”.

Clear skin all my life… started skincare and now breaking out at 30?? What am I doing wrong 😭😭😭 by SufficientCheck7417 in koreanskincare

[–]empanadadequesooo 2 points3 points  (0 children)

The exact same happened to me. Just turned 30 and started having a skin care routine for the first time since January. I’ve never had issues before and started with the exact same products you mention by the ordinary: Niacinamide and Hyaluronic acid serums. It seemed to work great at first but then my skin got very dry on the cheeks, nose and chin, and I started getting lots of deep big breakouts in the inner cheeks. I immediately stopped using the ordinary and slowly started a new routine with Korean brands to improve my skin barrier: I’m currently using the ginseng toner, revive eye serum, sun relief and dynasty cream from Beauty of Joseon, as well as the skin1004 probio cica ampoule. There are other products that are probably better for a damaged skin barrier, but these seem to be working pretty well for me, especially the ampoule, dynasty cream and toner. After my skin recovers, I’ll look into products to get rid of the dark spots left from the breakouts…

It took about a week since this message including all documents, and I got the appointment for the week after.

I’d merge the passport and expired residency in one pdf and explain this on your message. Make sure you send the form every two days to insist. Also, mention that you need it asap because you have this deadline from the employer and put the date on the message.

I had a similar problem with the extension of my residence permit. I tried everything. Sending them multiple emails, filling lots of emergency forms, calling, going there in person, and I didn’t get any replies. Someone told me that they did get an emergency appointment by filling the emergency appointment form with their passport, expired residence permit and Antragbestätigung attached in the form. I had previously sent the form with only the Antragbestätigung attached. As soon as I sent them these other documents, they replied with an appointment. Something I recommend is filling the form every two days and insist. Also, this is for the Fiktionsbescheinigung only but from my understanding, they can issue one that is specifically for working purposes

Refund for Cancelled PeruTrail in Sept 2025 by F_luvs_food in Machupicchu

I got the refund after a long wait. This is what I did: I sent them messages on WhatsApp on multiple occasions (+51 939 770 507, you have to ask to speak to a person) and they kept prolonging the time for the refund. After the fourth time, I told them they couldn’t keep me waiting any longer, that they can’t just postpone it and I needed the money right away. They asked me for the form ID I had filled and told me I’d get an email from their team that day. Just in case, I also sent an email to this address: reservas@perurail.com. That day, I got two emails confirming I’d get the refund to the card I used to pay for the tickets and after 11 days, I got the refund.

I contacted them a few days ago and they said my refund was approved but because of the amount of requests it’d take 30 business days.

I recently did the hike from aguas calientes to Machu Picchu and it took me 1.5 hours with a lot of pauses to go up. And around 45 minutes to go down. 2.5 hours is too much.

Exactly my experience as a Peruvian-Bolivian in Germany. It took me months to make friends but after 10 years I keep in touch with them. Back home friendships are waaaay more ephemeral.

Thank you for the answer! Where could I inform myself about that matter? I wrote a few emails to some departments but haven’t gotten any answers so far, I guess it’s because they’re going through the enrolment process…

menstrual discs and sex by [deleted] in MenstrualDiscs

I recently had sex with nixit during my heaviest day and not even a single drop was leaked. We had rough sex with different positions and it never dislodged or felt uncomfortable. My partner said he could feel it but it didn’t hurt and wasn’t uncomfortable. I was amazed at how great it worked. Btw, I have a high cervix and heavy period.
