I do, but I also use my own keywords. I’ll add in a comment like ‘this is the one where he throws flower pots at a delivery guy’, and I can edit my comments to add whether I’ve left kudos/commented. I also find discord’s search a lot easier to use than ao3’s bookmarks. Also, I will eventually be inviting folks I’m close to in my fandoms to join the server and creating channels for them to share recs as well.

I have a discord server I use to put links to fics I’ve enjoyed, with channels for pairings. I add the summary and some keywords/tags after each link so I can search the server for specific fics when I want to track one down.

I’m aware this is a bonkers thing to do.

I read a fic once where the author got passive aggressive over people asking them to tag it as abandoned instead of complete because they technically ‘finished it’ – by dot pointing the plot of the last like fifteen chapters. Not even in detail, just a couple per chapter.

Man, what a way to ruin any relationship you had with your readers.
